"Where are you going?" Sayeth Basha stepped from where the shadow had hidden him.
At thirteen years old, Sayeth had been deemed strong enough to bear the symbol of authority – the number two – of the Kingdom of Bahran Pasai. He was the epitome of order. Everything he did always followed what their parents told him. From how he politely speaks, how he dressed to the formal code, and how he must act like the Prince that he was.
Rhena never saw her little brother slouch, even in the privacy of the palace's familial wing at night. He was always so neat and clean. Even the way that crown sitting on his head was perfectly measured.
The only thing that didn't sit right was how he crookedly grinned at her.
Rhena Basha should not be surprised to find Sayeth emerged from the dark, since she had known that shadow was her little brother's speciality in magic. However, seeing his appearance here when she never thought that Sayeth would step his foot in, was quite a shock.
