After dinner, Ryan said goodbye to Matthew and Lily. With a heavy heart, Ryan had to give up Lily, who was now engaged to Matthew. In his heart, Ryan always warned himself when looking at Lily.
"You have no hope. Look, Lily looks so happy when she's with Matthew," Ryan said in his heart. Ryan kept repeating those words in his heart.
Now Ryan was trying to smile as he watched Matthew and Lily embrace as they walked him to the front of the Williams house. "You have to invite me when you get married. I will come."
"I will be very angry with you if you don't come. Yesterday you didn't come to celebrate my engagement," Lily said.
Ryan laughed softly after hearing Lily's words. "If I hadn't been caught by those damned, I would have been the first to congratulate you. You know, I love you—"
"I still love you so much, Lily," Ryan continued in his heart.
Lily moved forward and hugged Ryan. "Take good care of yourself, Ryan."
