NEXT CHAPTER- MOOD SWINGS
Kria's POV....
1 month later...
It's been a month since we arrived in New York. Natasha and I are waiting to put our plan into action. So much has happened in this one month. Justin and Aadya are in a relationship, Jia and Ayra started their classes, Natasha, Aadya and I started working in Crescent Moon airlines. These people are obsessed with the moon I tell you. I work as an intern in the cabin crew training department. I've been learning how to manage the schedule of the instructors and making sure the trainee cabin crew gets their schedule on time too...
It's been so much fun but a little tiring too. Adrian and I are still in a stage where he is constantly flirting with some stolen kisses and I'm still playing hard to get. So far he hasn't changed other than he got a little busy with employee welfare duty that he does in the office near the "employee quarters" but we were never taken there to see around.
Natasha, Jia, Ayra and I once sneaked outside at night to roam around without the constant nagging and flirting but it was so difficult to even go near the garden that is 100 meters in front of the mansion we are staying in as these boys will be behind us within 30 seconds.
Our parents are arriving tomorrow in New York. Jia and Ayra will also be here too so that my parents could "check" how we are really doing. Ahana and Manik will be coming tomorrow from their honeymoon too. That's one of the reasons we could not put our plan into action...
"What are you thinking baby?" Adrian's sudden appearance freaked me out, making me lose my balance but he held me on time before I fell off the balcony. I admire his reflexes.
"How many times have I told you not to sneak up on me like that? You're gonna give me a heart attack one day. Why are you home early anyway?"
"Well, I missed my girl and heard that she did not go to the office as she wasn't feeling well. So I came to check up on her. What happened baby? Are you okay?"
"Yes... I'll rest for a day or two and then I'll be fine"
"Let's go to the doctor. Is it a fever? What if anything is serious? You are anaemic too. Come let's not take any risk" he started pulling my hand to go with him to the doctors.
"Adrian, I'm just on my period. Chill... It's just cramps. I'll be fine in a few days" he was so uncomfortable that his face was as red as a tomato.
"Are you blushing?" I was a laughing mess now.
"No, it's just that even my sister never spoke about these days to me or Aaron. I didn't know how to react. Anyway, do you need anything?
Ice cream, chocolates or anything to eat or drink? What about uh..umm your necessities?"
"I've everything that is needed although I'm really craving some Maggi. Would you cook for me? It's really easy and all the veggies are already chopped and kept in the refrigerator" I love maggi. I mean who doesn't?
"Alright, my love. Give me 10 minutes" he went to prepare my maggi.
"Add some black pepper too and also make it soupy" I shouted to get an 'okay' as a reply. I'm getting used to it and it's really not that bad. My only worry is how am I going to live without my parents, that too so far?
Next day:
Our parents landed in New York this morning and are staying in CM Hotel as they wanted to rest because the place we are staying is an hour away. They wanted to freshen up and rest because Manik's mom is a little sick. They will be shifting to our mansion soon.
We all are getting ready to have dinner in some good restaurant and pick them up. Once I got ready, I came downstairs and sat on the couch and the idiot too came and sat beside me. Adrian can't keep his hands to himself which is irritating me to the next level.
"Small advice. If you want your hands to be intact, keep your hands to yourself" I shouted at him, making Ahana turn towards us. She said something to Manik and walked towards us. "Al-Adrian, don't do anything she wouldn't like at this time of the month. She once chopped my hair because I called her nick name. I wasn't a beautiful sight. Give her some space if you want kids in the future" she told him laughing.
"Yeah yeah.. make fun of me... that is all you guys know. You guys have your own secret and now you are making fun of me. I hate you all, don't come near me or talk to me. I don't want to see your faces and I won't come to pick them up. I'll see them when they are here" I don't know why I started bawling like a baby and ran upstairs. I guess I'm done with all the secrets that they are keeping from me and I don't know why Adrian is not asking me out after all the flirting that he has been doing with me.
