Smith went to the bank to apply for a mortgage. When it was done, the salesman told him he would pay it off in ten years.
"Ten years from now in the morning or in the afternoon?"
The sales clerk looked up at him and asked rhetorically, "Is there a difference between morning and afternoon in ten years?"
