"Bowdey.....Bowdey come on." He looked up to see Makenna standing in front of him. They were at a sparkling, white, lake. The sun shone high in the sky, and the water looked crystal clear. "Bowdey? Come on let's go for a swim." She laughed, taking his hand, leading him to the water. He smiled following her. They stepped in and started swimming out away from the shore, making it about one hundred meters out when they stopped. Both were breathing heavy. "Hey beautiful." He said smiling, floating inches from her. "Hey Alpha." He pulled back suddenly looking at her. "What? What did you just call me?" "Alpha. I choose you Bowdey, as my alpha and my mate." She leaned in to kiss him.....~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
His eyes opened suddenly and he sat straight up, sweating and breathing heavy; but he was...home. His bedroom, in his bed. "What....the...?" He questioned to himself. Bowdey swung his legs over the side of the bed and slowly stood up. Opening his door, he walked down a few steps of the stairs. His dad was talking to someone...; but he couldn't recognize the voice. "That's not possible. His mother was.....She ....she was human. She died." "Deacon i'm telling you. He's not human, he's not half human. Bowdey's not just a hunter. He's a wolf....and if we are right .....he's even stronger than the Silverwolves." Bowdey recognized that voice right off. "Makenna?" He whispered. He listened again. "Makenna that's not possible." "She's right Deacon. We could all feel it. There's something strong just below the surface that even he doesn't know yet." Bowdey didn't recognize that voice. "We have to help him; but we can't just chain him up or tie him up until he figures it out." That was Tyler. "No we can't; but he's already started trying to shift the first time. He's soon going to be to strong to handle, until he can control it." " I will not tie him up anymore or chain him up. If he's already tried to shift, it wont be long before his wolf comes out fully. Bowdey can learn to control him." "How did you figure it out?" Deacon looked at Makenna and Bowdey listened intently. "When he came into my room...." "Ooo..." Someone laughed mockingly. "Shut up! I had already started putting the pieces together. The bond itself, the way we could feel and hear each other's thoughts. Then I started doing the research on Aria. She was a half Lycan...and the gene has the ability to produce a full bloodline." "Meaning?" Tyler asked. "Meaning Bowdey could very well be full blooded." Bowdey sighed heavily, just as his head began to swim. He made it to the bottom of the stairs and took a deep breath. When he looked up again, Makenna was standing there. "You need to be resting. I think we should talk." She said sadly as she helped him up, and back into his room. "What the hell is going on? Who is all down there and why are you talking about me and my mother?" He said, anger flashing through him. His breathing suddenly picked up. "Bowdey listen to me....we are not trying to hide anything from you. We just....we don't know....how." She admitted. Heat flooded his vision, his head pulsing. Bowdey turned around and paced his bedroom, hands on his hips. "Makenna what are ya'll not telling me?" He demanded suddenly. "Nothing. You tell us....Is there something more to you?" Now he saw red. "How the hell am I supposed to know?! I don't even know who I really am anymore....." Bowdey sighed. "Bowdey....maybe your mom was...." "Dont!" He shouted. "Son...Makenna's trying to help." "Get out! All of you and leave me alone!" "Son please just listen." Deacon started. "I said get out!!" Bowdey yelled as his body began to shake. Raw heat rose from the tip of his toes all the way up his spine. He looked at his hands as they suddenly became darker in color, almost black. In his head he could feel something. Something powerful pulling at him, trying to get to the surface. He ran past them, down the stairs and out the front door without saying anything to anybody. When his feet hit the ground, he felt s body begin to pull and stretch. Agonizing pain shot through him and he felt like he was literally being pulled apart. Bowdey screamed in pain, as he started running. Maybe he could outrun the pain. Slowly his screams faded and howls could be heard. He stopped suddenly and looked around.
He wasn't in pain anymore, he wasn't even breathing heavy from running; but he felt stronger. He felt powerful. Bowdey looked down at the ground where his feet should be; but he saw....paws. Wolf paws. Turning his head, he seen a tail. "Now you know the truth as to what you are." Bowdey looked around suddenly. He tired to speak but instead heard himself bark. "You're a wolf dumbass. My name is Bellhamy. I am you're wolf and I want to help you." "Bellhamy? So this means....my mother was a....." Bowdey broke off. "Your mother's a wolf and she's alive. She want's to see you."
