Chapter 6 - Secondary Weapon & Training

Day 14

"GRAAAHHHHH!!!!" What an exciting way to start his hellish day, just when the sun was about to rise. Rei was enjoying his morning jog with a few monsters accompanying him in his path. Waving his middle finger after throwing the head of their kin at one of their group. They didn't hesitate, not even for a single second, which made them accept his taunt

"The sun's shining, the birds are chirping and im enjoying my daily jog with a few monsters,"

20 goblins are currently chasing him through the woods, even though it might look like he's at a disadvantage in numbers. As, soon as he reached his destination, he immediately jumps and grabbed some vines that were hanging from a tree. The goblins saw that he was escaping so they ran faster only to fall into a pit made by Rei. Covered in leaves and a few bushes he was able to hide a huge noticeable hole, they struggled to escape, and soon they met their end once he poured some diluted poison into the pit killing the monsters, that were tormented by his horrific trap

"I think that's too brutal! Even for them but I can only give them my empathy even if I were to understand them I think I'll still choose on killing these freaks. I still haven't forgotten that they had eaten some people before. Now I realize what horrors an animal sees every day when they see a person there is nothing but livestock. That's the same as this so it's not wrong to kill them if they're going to kill me, well now thats out of my way Status,"

Unused points: 10

Skills: Sharp sense (F) Appraisal (D) Basic dagger arts (F)]

I mostly used my points to increase my attack for damage Health for my durability and put a little on stamina for my energy I finally found out that the average strength of a grown man is at 10 stat because I went over that my durability speed even strength can be seen as abnormal

[The experience collected from the killed monster will now be given]

"It looks like there dead let's see if I got any good drops," He jumps down to the pit and searches the fleeting corpses for any kind of item to have dropped. And the thing he didn't expect to happen the most occurred, inside the pit was a bow. A weapon that he seems to have little knowledge of handling such a complicated weapon would bring joy to his nearly expressionless face

[Goblin fangs-3

Goblin cloth-2

Goblin bag-1

Goblin bow-1

Arrows-20

Goblin bag - a bag made by the goblins it can store items up to 10

Storage:10 Durability:15/11

Goblin bow - a bow made by Goblins even with their low intelligence they crafted an item much better than a normal one

Attack power: 18 Durability: 30/27]

"At last, the time has finally arrived, in every fantasy game I've played in my entire life. I remember this mechanic that I like the most, and that is none other than a secondary weapon. But to think that I'll receive a bow? It's not bad, I've been into an archery range before, but I suck at aiming. Well, you know what they say practice makes perfect, I didn't rage quit even though I still suck at using a sniper on an fps. So it's equivalent to that kind of experience the difference is that there's no respawn in this kind of match,"

[Sea serpent - a giant snake-like beast that can breathe underwater it's very well known for using its tail to strike its prey down from a safe distance. When faced with difficult prey it let out a small amount of poison from its poison sac mixing it with water. To release a poisonous fluid from their mouth, just having a small drop of poison that hasn't been diluted in water was known to even kill anyone in quick succession

Monster type: Aquatic/Snake species

Rarity: Uncommon

Difficulty: Uncommon

Attributes: Poison]

'So the reason why the goblins withstood that poison was that it wasn't injected directly. But poured, this is some good info to obtain in my travels, it seems having the bow as a means to apply my poison would do wonders. I'll just have to get the hang of using this weapon to the point where I can rely on its capabilities. Having the ability to strike from afar is impressive and downright the most irritating thing I've experienced in my time surviving this place without any sort of assistance,'

He tried to have to test his grip in hopes of making him learn to exert his strength making sure that he wouldn't overexert the strength he possesses. Which will bring about the destruction of his newly gained weapon, apart from handling his power, the weapon of his choosing made his overly aggressive behavior a list harder than he had anticipated. Rather, it exists to be the main focus he only tends to use them to strike down the few enemies he could in a certain range. Even with his heightened sense of sight he still needs some practice with his weapon

"It's getting late, I didn't think I'd use all of my remaining time in archery, guess I've found something to entertain myself. I wonder if I can manage to pull off a trick shot if I mastered the bow before that comes into play. I need to increase my exp gathering, staying on this side of the forest for a month or two would be the death of me. I don't know why, but instead of the monsters getting reduced their only expanding their numbers and increasing their overall power,"

Knowing his ever-increasing crisis he withdraws from his journey and went on a journey through his surrounding. The traps he gathered were placed in the nearest goblin village wherein he sets his goal to eradicate. Only to realize that his petty acts of violence weren't even enough for the overall numbers of the village. He can only do so much for someone who survived by his own set of rules that change him for the better or worse. By the time he arrived at his cave which was filled with a lot of drops relating to his hunted monsters. Weapons that he gathered from the corpses of the people he found in his search for allies

The number of corpses piling in the forest for him to bury was increasing even exceeding nearly a hundred. Which would've been the chances of those people being his allies and yet he was left all alone in his current position. He uses the share amount of time by exercising his body and stimulating it to a never before reached capacity. From his arrival in this forest, he notices that even the weakest goblin was already stronger than an average strength of a fully grown man

"34, 35, 36, and 37," Lifting his body with his hands, running to train his endurance, and lastly swinging his weapon over and over until he was tired. Why would such a person do such a meaningless task? The system already has the power to change the user's stats and yet his doing such an activity? Even if it looks like it was meaningless from the very start of his workout, slowly he notices his body was drastically changing in so short time. It was the help of the system as well, something that can only be acquired through long and difficult labor was easily obtained in a matter of weeks

[System: Exclusive privileges of the user have been activated, the user has gained an extra boost on progression to any kind of body tampering activities performed. Your body is being affected by your training, slow you noticed that your physique has been getting a lot more different from your usual shape. Your heightened sense of pain hasn't triggered any kind of muscles strains to occur within your body, you can continue with your daily activity]

His body was changing, but he didn't realize how much of an effect such an effect have created on his body. For someone that hasn't come in contact with a mirror and his reflections would only do so much as to reveal his face when he stares at the river. Before he gets another tail that came from a sea serpent to be launched and aimed directly at his body. It was tiring, yet he didn't even waste his time idling around and waiting for a time when he would eventually fall like the corpses he buried in the forest. If someone were to compare his figure to his previous shape, anyone would've mistaken him for a different person

"97, 98, 99, 100th, phew now that's finally finished I think it's time for my evening snack," Disciplined he was to the point where he didn't even try to call off his daily training, that only further strengthen his mental capacity. Whilst it was changing his body for the better he was neither an ignorant fool that gained a thirst for power. He stayed persistent and remained on his path without even knowing that his body have been transformed into a new form. A body that'll only be gained through a year's worth of training or more was the result of his training
