I went near him as he moved inside a bit but there was still a little place to adjust.
"Take off the rob," he said as my face heated up. I slowly put off the rob and placed it on the chair as I went near the bed.
I laid down on my side as one of his arms was under my head working as a pillow. Now, my back touched his chest. I bit my lips hard. I could feel his hard chest behind me.
Arashi pulled the rag on us as his other hand fell on my waist and all the blood I had ran to my cheeks. The exhaustion I had all went out through the window and I could hear my heart beating on my ears.
He noticed if we both moved, I would fall from the bed. He wrapped his hand around me in a cocoon so I wouldn't end up falling. But his movements were making my heart go bonkers. How could I sleep like that?
I had never shared my bed with anyone let alone a man. I was so flustered that I was glad he was behind me. He couldn't see my face at least.
We went quiet as the night went on. In the quietness I could hear his breathing and the movement of his chest. But it was hard for me to sleep a wink while we stayed like that, wrapped against each other. Was he asleep already?
When my mind was coping with the situation, I heard some noise. My ears perked up as I focused on it. It was a female voice coming from just behind the walls and she was moaning while a male voice growled.
I froze.
Could the situation get worse than this?
Right there, I wanted to dig the ground and hide inside it as my face reddened. My whole body felt hot in embarrassment and I stayed there like a frozen doll. I pretended that I was asleep and didn't move as Arashi wasn't moving at all.
He must be a heavy sleeper and I was glad that he was. Otherwise, I couldn't face him anymore tomorrow.
The moans stopped after sometime and I released a breath as I closed my eyes. Now, it was quiet and my tiredness came back to me as I felt my lids heavy.
Then it struck me why the boy was smirking at me after he showed us our room. He was thinking that we...
My ears turned red as the thought came across my mind and I decided to lose myself in my slumber.
I woke up when he slowly moved his arm away and his warm embrace was gone. I don't recall when was the last time I had a good sleep.
I blinked open my eyes and he said, "Let's get going. We will reach there by noon if we hurry."
"Yes," I sat up but I still felt droopy.
Arashi got up from the bed and went to the bathroom. I wanted to roll around on the bed but it was rude to disobey an order from my husband.
After he came out of the bathroom, I went to freshen up. I wanted to have a bath but he said we would reach his home before noon. I decided after we arrived, we could take our bath in the house.
As I came back from the bathroom, I saw he wore the rob he had given me the previous day.
"Stay here until I come back also," He looked at me while taking his luggage, "Don't open the door for anyone if it is not me."
I looked at him with wide eyes as I nodded and asked, "Are you going somewhere?"
"Just some work," he said before closing the door behind him.
I saw my bag laid on the floor as I sat on the bed. I thought he could have taken me with him as well.
After some time, when Arashi still hadn't come, negative thoughts started to nest in my head. Why didn't he take me with him? Yesterday, he had no problems since I went with him to that spooky house.
Did he abandon me? A cloud appeared in my heart. Somehow I felt he wasn't the man who would abandon me so I waited patiently when the door opened.
My stomach flattered as I saw it was Arashi who entered. I may haven't known him but somehow I felt he wasn't a bad person.
He dropped his bag on the floor and he had two bowls in his hands. He brought our morning meal. He gave me one bowl and sat on the chair as he said, "I have packed our lunch and water. If you feel hungry or thirsty on the way, let me know."
I nodded silently.
We had our breakfast there and it was delicious. It felt more delicious because I never had a full meal in the morning.
I had always been the last one to have a meal and by the time food was served, there were very few left. And no matter how hungry I felt, I had no choice but to devour the small portion to fill half of my belly and the rest with water.
They had cared less about me and if anything were to happen to me they still would not care.
As soon as we finished our breakfast we began our departure.
We came down the stairs and Arashi went toward the owner as he paid him with another coin. The man bowed and the boy beside him smirked again at me.
I furrowed my brows and Arashi seemed to notice the boy's eyes at me as he glared at him. The boy dashed away from there immediately.
"Let's go." Arashi said I followed him.
But I felt my cheeks getting warm by remembering last night. Especially the time when Arashi wrapped his hands around me. I could still feel his warmth on my body.
I was walking behind him while my mind was distracted with thoughts and suddenly I hit something hard. I looked up and it was Arashi's back.
He turned around and glared at me. A sudden shiver ran down on my spine out of fear as I stepped back. "I—I am s—sorry. I—I was just..."
"Why are you spacing out?" His brows furrowed. He seemed annoyed with me as I gulped.
I was about to say something but before that he placed one of his palms on my forehead and asked, "Did you get a fever?"
I was gaping at him with round eyes as he added, "You should tell me when you are not feeling well. We have to slow down or you will faint at this rate."
I opened my mouth and closed again as I noticed he was clearly annoyed but the reason was my health. I didn't know but it made me a little happy.
"No, don't worry. We don't have to slow down. I am fine." I said while shaking my head.
He looked at me as his dark eyes washed over my face and noted, "Your cheeks are red."
I knew it was red but for last night. Last night he took me in his embrace and I felt shy again looking at his face.
I avoided his eyes and I said, "I am fine." The whole time my heart was thundering inside of my chest like it could blast and jump out from my rib cage. I was afraid he would hear my heartbeat.
He nodded as he turned around and led the way.
