Her heels clicked against the pavement as she stepped out of her luxurious red car and stole the attention of everyone on the premises.
The sunglasses that covered her face shined as the sun seemed to glow only on her blonde strands.
"Good day, ma'am," the valet greeted as he moved to take her keys from her nervously.
"Did I catch doing something wrong? Why are you trembling?" she muttered as she handed him the keys.
"N-No, ma'am," he shook his head and quickly hopped into the car.
He didn't know how to break it to her that her powerful ambiance affected everyone around her.
She moved into the building as she glided through the glass doors which opened automatically for her.
As soon as her presence was seen in the lobby, everyone busied themselves with one thing or another, to avoid eye contact with the boss.
She was dressed in an elegant grey suit that stuck to each of her relatively voluminous curves.
The white v-neck inner shirt she wore inside showed a bit of her cleavage to add to her attractive appeal.
She held her white Louis Vuitton bag as she pressed her phone without a care about who was in the building as her long curly blonde hair bounced as she moved.
Men nearly fell down at her feet to worship her affluent and glamorous features, and girls burned with envy as they watched her somewhat perfect life from afar.
"Good morning, Miss CEO," they greeted.
"Morning," she waved her hand nonchalantly as she kept her head on her phone.
Everyone stepped out of the way as she moved in, except for one person who walked down towards her direction.
Her Head Secretary, Simaya Kinder.
Simaya was a beautiful young lady in her mid-twenties with gorgeous big brown eyes.
Her Latin heritage was displayed fully with her curves which stood out in every right area, and her black pencil skirt accentuated her thick legs.
She embellished the skirt with a plain pink blouse and her black thick hair was placed in a neat bun with some strands on her sides.
"Morning, Miss CEO, how was your ride here?" Simaya asked with her professional tone.
The response she met was being hit with the Louis Vuitton bag by the occupied CEO.
"Save the unnecessary questions, Kinder Joy, send the usual amount of cheque to Royal's cafe at Sixth Avenue, I caused a few damages," Ariana muttered as she walked towards her private elevator.
"You caused another problem?" Simaya rolled her eyes behind her boss's back.
"Yes, just send the money and we might be expecting a case so inform the lawyer beforehand," Ariana said as she stood before the elevator's doors.
"Twenty-fifth law case against you this year," Simaya mumbled under her breath as she pressed the button for the elevator.
"You said?" Ariana asked.
"Nothing, boss, anything else?" Simaya brought her usual overjoyed smile.
"Stop smiling, I'm not in a good mood, Kinder Joy," Ariana gritted before she entered the elevator as Simaya followed behind.
Simaya clenched her fists at the nickname Ariana have given her when she first heard her surname, Kinder.
No matter how many times she whined, Ariana wouldn't listen and kept calling her that.
"What happened so early in the morning, boss?" Simaya asked, but technically, she could care less.
She hadn't slept properly for days because of the workload her boss had offloaded on her without prior notice.
"Nothing, I don't want to talk about it," Ariana hissed.
"What's my schedule for today?" she asked, instead.
"You have a meeting with the board by noon, then lunch with your fiance and-"
"Wait, I had lunch with Derek?" Ariana snapped.
"Yes," Simaya nodded.
"Why would you book something I didn't ask you to?" Ariana hissed.
"You asked me to-"
"Cancel it, I'm not in the mood for fake smiles and acting romance today," Ariana waved her hand.
"Yes, boss," Simaya canceled the appointment on her tablet.
"Anything else?"
"Uh, the facial department has a new product to launch and your authorization is needed,"
"Okay,"
Then Ariana turned her head to Simaya as she pulled off her sunglasses while staring intently at her.
"Is...something wrong?" Simaya fidgeted.
"You are wearing a pink blouse, why would you use purple lipstick? Are you suffering from colorblindness?" Ariana asked.
"No, I-"
"Then is it poverty?"
"..."
Simaya gritted her teeth to hold back her remark. This is what she had to deal with Miss Ariana when she was in bad mood.
"Check the mini pocket in my bag, there's a pink lipstick. Clean that color off your mouth for God's sake," Ariana said before she walked out of the elevator.
"Yes, boss," Simaya rolled her eyes.
"And stop rolling your eyes at me!" Ariana snapped.
