Jared sat on the chair on the café as he rubbed his hands on his thighs to ward off the nerves he was getting.
He took a look at his watch and realized that he had gotten here much earlier than they agreed on which was why he was waiting so long.
His eyes searched around the place in case he saw that familiar blonde hair he knew too well but it was clear she hadn't gotten here yet.
His heart kept beating fast in his chest as though he had participated in a marathon while he waited for her.
He had been practicing what he would say to convince her to be with him. She might try to bring up another argument to tell him why they shouldn't be together but he was planning on contradicting all of her points so she would end up having nothing more to say.
As he waited, Jared took his phone out as he wanted to call and ask where she was before the cafe's door pinged open which made him look up.
