Chapter 2 - Ju Xia West City

Ju Xia City was the largest city in the <> world of Treyden. <> had an entire universe that was infinite in size and many legends exist of there being infinite more universes outside of the <> universe. Treyden was one of the smallest planets in the <> universe and yet, Treyden was still 2000 times the size of Earth.

Interstellar travel was unlocked through two Unique passive Skills the first one being [Oxygenless]. This meant that the player could survive without oxygen. The second one was [Alien-like], which gave the player the ability to walk as fast as they do on land in space. These two Unique passive skills could be combined into the Legendary passive skill, [Fast Space Travel], which had a mythical evolution to [Instantaneous Space Travel].

However, this aspect of the game was in the far future, and not something he needed to focus on now.

To travel to the main city of Ju Xia (West) took 3 <> hours. One <> hour was equivalent to 100 Earth minutes and there were 30 hours per day, 10 days a week and 100 weeks in a year in <>

In 3 hours, Xi Zheng had reached the main gate of Ju Xia(West) main city. However, a guard was blocking him. This guard seemed to be unarmed. Xi Zheng looked around. There were no witnesses and people within the main city couldn't see past the tall gate.

[Rapid Sword Slashes]!

Xi Zheng unsheathed his sword and before the guard could react, hit him with a barrage of slashes all to the chest. These penetrated his armour and Xi Zheng went for the kill. He stabbed his sword through the heart of the guard.

There was only one reason why he did that. This guard was untrained and a novice, he could deduce that from his lack of equipment.

The guard would also have asked for I.D, something that Xi Zheng had forgotten to get from the starter cabin.

He normally had a decent memory, but after reaching level 10 you didn't need I.D anymore and he had reached level 10 around 199 years ago.

He dragged the guard's corpse over to the fingerprint opening of the gate, leaving a short trail of red as he did.

After opening the gate with the deceased guard's index finger, Xi Zheng threw the body into the bushes and entered Ju Xia West's main city.

I haven't seen this place prospering since Soaring Eagle took over and that was within the first three days of release. Oh yeah, after they take over, the gym gets closed, doesn't it? Xi Zheng recalled a crucial piece of information.

However, they were a small guild until day 2. If I join their guild in its infant stage, I can reap the rewards in a few days. They also have Physique and Potential increase methods that are ten times more effective than others. I'll also be able to do any dungeon instance I want to, as people will be scared of harming a member of a feared and well-respected guild. The positives outweigh the negatives greatly.

Xi Zheng opened the Guild menu. He typed in 'Soaring Eagle'. He saw that the guild had only 50 members. This was great because when the guild becomes a well-respected and feared group, being one of the earlier members, Xi Zheng would have more authority and a higher ranking in the guild.

He decided now that he had to wait until the guild grows and begins their invasion in three days. Until then, he could farm secret dungeon instances as there were many dotted around Ju Xia West City.

Each dungeon instance had a grade of

Extremely Easy, Easy, Easy Enough, More Difficult Easy, Medium, More Difficult Medium, Hard or Impossible.

All of these grades were self-explanatory through their names. Even if one dungeon instance had a specific grade at one time, that grade would be changed every <> hour. What's more, is that once you enter a dungeon instance, you won't be able to escape it until you complete it.

After walking for around ten minutes, Xi Zheng entered a secret dungeon instance underneath the city. This was the first dungeon instance Xi Zheng discovered and what was better was that it was a private instance, meaning no one could join if someone was already in. Xi Zheng had never entered it before, as in his first run someone was in the instance and he didn't want to be killed by them when they came out so he decided to leave and then forgot about it after the invasion.

Xi Zheng stepped into the dungeon instance.

Alright, what grade is it?

An illustration with two words appeared in front of him.

Grade: Impossible.
