I left my chambers when I discovered I couldn't stop thinking about Lorraine when I was supposed to interrogate her. I made my way to one of the private meeting rooms and stopped short when I heard loud voices from within. I moved close to peep through the half open door as the occupants forgot to close it.
I was shocked to see Alonzo arguing loudly with my mother. My mother shouted back at him and he grabbed her hand roughly while speaking harshly to her. Even with wolf ears, I couldn't pick up what they were shouting. I walked in at this moment and they both looked at me in shock while greeting me.
