Disheartened that Richard couldn't give her an answer, she swerved out of the living room straight into her bedroom. Bashing the door behind her, Jessica stood in front of the mirror, staring at her reflection.
Time was running out. She removed her jacket and pack her hair up in a bun. Under her jacket, she wore a long-sleeved shirt with a turtle neck to cover her body and the visible dark veins that were becoming more due to the fact she has yet to kill her destiny.
She stood naked in front of the mirror. Her back was covered with dark veins, the ones on her hand were no longer visible making her wonder what must have happened, but whatever it has she thought is a good thing. Just then she heard a knock on her door.
She quickly wore her dress and opened the door.
"Richard." Jessica's eyes flinched erratically as she tries to avoid his gaze. She walked to her bed. "What have you come to ask?" Her lips parted as she breathed audibly heavily.
