Chapter 13 - It's okay, Let it all out

She had forgotten it was her family's big plan to take off the scandal from the Huang Family name.

"Well... With regards to that I would have wanted it to be a surprise" she said with a forced smile still trying to regain her composure after her previous outburst.

Zhang Fen said nothing, her job was not to make headlines just to make sure Huang Wei was okay. She wasn't Huang Wei's manager but she had saved her friend more times than she could count, if she had her way, she would be her manager but she didn't, Wei Wei manager was carefully handpicked by the Huangs to make sure she didn't get any good role, or deals in the modelling and acting career since Huang Wei had decided to out do herself by being a model and actress.

"Alright that would be all for now, thank you all for coming" Zhang Fen said standing up immediately, Wei Wei knew she was already irritated by the hypocritical and judgemental reporters who never really cared about bringing the best In their idols. She hated reporters.

Wei Wei immediately followed her as the bodyguard made sure they got out of the building successfully.

They got into the black limousine that had earlier brought them with a Zhang Fen that had a thousand and one questions in her mind, Huang Wei knew it'd only be a matter of a few seconds after they were seated comfortably that the flood of questions would start coming in from her friend.

"What in God's name was that?!" Fen Fen asked with widened eyes

"What was what?" she replied feigning ignorance

"No don't do that, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about Fen Fen because you do" she said letting out a nervous laughter trying to calm the curiousity burning within her bones.

"Mr Choi please we aren't going to the Huang Mansion we are going to my house" she said with every ounce of seriousness in her body.

Mr Choi looked at Huang Wei through the rear view mirror to see if his boss didn't agree to that but her face was expressionless

"I see you Mr Choi" she said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice.

This made Wei Wei laugh letting off some steam of tension that had been deposited in different parts of her skeletal system.

"Alright, you heard the boss Mr Choi" she said in a playful tone.

Soon they arrived at Zhang Fen's house. It was in one of the most beautiful Estates in the City, not as extravagant as the Huangs, she had done a great job to make a name for herself and achieve success.

The 4 bedroom duplex was more than enough for a single lady as herself.

They bid Mr Choi good bye as they both walked into the house.

Zhang Fen's eyes fell on the huge wall clock in her princess like living room, one would think she was an interior designer rather than a fashion designer.

There was a reason she was called "flip my look mistress" even if she wasn't as popular as most fashion designers in the country it didn't reduce her credibility.

"Okay firstly, I know it's late and you model's have a rule but I saw you, you didn't have any meal this evening, and I'm sure you haven't eaten the whole day"

How did i get so lucky she said as Fen Gen quickly went to the room to change and shower in order to make her friend some pats which she had hoped she'd eat with the sliced bread she got yesterday and refrigerated.

Wei Wei went to the second room to do same, her stomach was rumbling really bad, she was extremely hungry, she could literally feel her intestines screaming for help the past 72 hours had been rely stressful, from the hangover to the news and the preparation for the function, it was just a lot to handle and food wasn't on her agenda.

She put on one of Fen Fen's boyfriend shirts as a night gown. It was almost as if she had her room in Fen's house, the room was reserved for her anytime she visited, she had everything she needed, soap, towels, brush paste and so on.

She slipped her feet into her indoor slides and walked down stairs, she loved the aura she got from Fen's apartment, it was just so calming, had her family been less of a control freak she would have moved in with Fen Fen.

It was always about their image. They would say things like what would people say if you moved into the apartment of a nobody, no family or family name.

"Over my dead body" her grandmother said.

She Brought out her phone to text her sick mother.

"Hey mom I won't be home tonight, I'll be sleeping at Fen's"

She slid her hands through the railing as she climbed down the spiral shaped stairwell to see her food already set in the dinning.

Tears immediately gathered her eyes as she gorged on the oat and bread without complaining about how late it was.

"Poor thing you must have been really hungry"

She fought to hold the tears back as she ate. She was done with the act of being strong in the face of everything that has been happening to facing the reporters, being back to a place she can call home made her cry uncontrollably.

"Wei Wei are you crying?" she said wrapping her hands round her friend's shoulders patting her gently as tears gathered in her own eyes.

"Why are you crying"

"I'm not, it's just the food is really good" she said with a mouth full Of a mixture of bread and oat in her mouth.

But she understood her friend, she was in so much pain and this was the only way she could express it.

"It's okay, let it all out, don't hold it back" she said as a tiny ball of tear fell through the side of the eyes of Fen Fen.
