"Your Job has made it quite difficult for any of the elite family of our class to consider you for marriage" Huang Wei's father said to Huang Wei.
who just arrived from a photo shoot exhausted.
Please father i just got back i need sometime to rest she said nonchalantly making her way upstairs to her bedroom, she hadn't caught sight of her step sister since she got back she just assumed she was still on set
How little she knew of the current situation.
"Huang Weiii!!!!" her father screamed her name in anger which startled her a bit.
Immediately she became conscious of her environment as the stopped at the second tire of the luxurious stairwell that led to the rooms upstairs.
The Huang Mansion had a huge sitting room.
The over all colour of the sitting room was brown, and it wasn't just the beautiful wood designs thet reflected but the expensive bronze sculptures that were present, the couch was covered of pure brown leather, smooth and comfy which was in what Huang Wei would call the first segment of the sitting room. Of course she was used to seeing the designs and everything, but what was unusual was every member of the house and staffs gathered in the living room which she hadn't noticed because she just wanted to take a cool bath.
"Oh aunt... Grandfather... Uncle.... erm I'm sorry i didn't see you there, when did you arrive?" she inquired trying to force smile and a conversation which from the look on their faces wasn't going too well.
"What is this you have done?!!!" this time it was her grandfather's voice she heard.
"What is what!?... What have i done?" she stuttered with a huge surprise on her face.
"Are you an alien haven't you seen the news you created yourself?" her aunt responded with a stern look on her face
"What news?!" She asked even more confused.
"About you selling your body to the director on set to get a role in the new movie"
Her step sister Huang Ah Lam stepped out from the shadows with those words, she could only imagine what the self centered conniving bitch had done this time around.
"I don't know what any one of you is talking about" the look on her family's face was scary even though she was sure that she didn't do anything.
"We are only allowing you to keep the Huang name because due to my son's foolishness you were brought into this world but i will not allow you to soil that name and from the looks of things you already have" this time it was grandmother Huang that spoke up.
"What?!!! This is ridiculous, these are all allegations" she said slowly stepping down from the stairwell to meet her father.
"There is no proof"
"Proof? What further proof do we need the news is all over the internet"
She quickly brought out her phone to check
"Not to worry sister" i got this Ah Lam immediately cut in displaying a video on the screen for everyone to see
Huang Wei dropped her phone in shock which fell to the ground cracking one side of the screen.
"No, no she sobbed as tears gathered in her eyes, no father that's not me, you have to believe me father, i didn't do it, that's not me"
She had indeed met with the director but that wasn't the discussion she had with him.
the director would have been able to help had he not been paid by Ah Lam to support her claims.
She held her father's hand with tears in her eyes he was the only family member she had asides her mother that didn't treat her like an outcast and since he had gone through a lot from his family for them, she had promised to be at her best behaviour if he'd let her join the industry.
Had it not been Ah Lam she would have been scandal free.
Her father pushed her hands away which made the tears drop from her face uncontrollably. He wanted to help her out this time but his hands were tied, and his greedy family had used this as an opportunity to make stupid demands which would affect the future of his daughter.
"We need to clear the scandal and incorporate Tech into our metal mining.. it's the next big thing."
Huang Wei knew where this was going to end but not Ah lam. The next words that came out of Chairman Huang's mouth was a shock to both girls.
"You would have to marry Wang Bolin"
Those words dropped like a bomb in Ah Lam's ear, she wanted her to be stripped off her name as a Huang as they mostly compared both of then and she just couldn't stand the sight if her being a Huang. To her, things would have been a lot better if she adopted her mother's family name Liu.
"What?!!!" Wei asked in shock
"This is unbelievable and unacceptable" she added
"I can't, i just can't" her words fell like a bombshell in the ears of her relatives all standing in the living room as she could feel the cold glares from everyone in the room especially her father who was under a lot of pressure, he always tried to protect her from his relatives but the scandals had made it difficult for him to do so.
"The decision is made and it's final" her father said walking away crushed from within."
There was more to it than met the eyes and he just couldn't tell her.
She rushed out quickly and drove out without any destination in mind.
She finally arrived at the Kristen bar. She was well accustomed with route but had never seen any reason to visit such a bar given her status and other factors.

Cheng Ling had decided to spend his day at Kristen bar when he noticed the damsel in distress in a beautiful green gown.
