Author's Note:
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share some real-life stuff with you. My grandpa passed away on December 30, 2023. It's been rough. He knew he was going and he made us promise to look after Grandma. I couldn't handle hearing him say goodbye, so I just told him to get some rest.
In the weeks that followed, he got weaker, and on that tough morning at 9 a.m., he took his last breath. The saddest thing was that he hung on until my mom woke up and did her usual thing with him before saying goodbye. We didn't want him to suffer, but it's still hard to let go.
I'm sorry if this brings the mood down. Writing is my way of dealing with it all—a distraction from the reality I'm facing. I hope you understand. Thanks for being here.

Space
Monster X and Titan Gigan soared through the vastness of space, drawing closer to Earth. The gravitational pull of the blue planet seemed almost insignificant compared to the weight of Monster X's thoughts, his focus consumed by the impending encounter with the intriguing hatchling, Gestroyah.
As the cosmic void surrounded them, Monster X's mind lingered on the enigma that was Gestroyah. This particular iteration possessed a level of intelligence that set it apart from its predecessors. It wasn't the typical primal cunning found in other versions; instead, it displayed a calculated logic, an intricate dance of abilities, follow-up combinations, and a creativity that suggested more than mere instinctual behavior.
The notion that someone or something guided Gestroyah's actions gnawed at Monster X's consciousness. It was almost as if a human soul had woven itself into the fabric of the chimera. The idea, though initially dismissed as improbable, now clung to Monster X's thoughts like a persistent shadow.
Abruptly, Monster X halted in his celestial journey, perplexing his loyal servant, Titan Gigan. Oblivious to his companion's confusion, Monster X's mind grappled with the possibility of a human soul controlling Gestroyah. The immense power of the chimera would surely shred any human spirit attempting to manipulate it, but a sudden realization sparked in Monster X's consciousness.
A human soul could survive within Gestroyah, not merely as a victim but as a puppeteer. The sheer speed at which Gestroyah harnessed its regenerative and adaptive abilities hinted at an external force guiding its every move. The puzzle pieces clicked together in Monster X's mind, forming a disturbing picture of a human soul steering the monstrous chimera.
Monster X had encountered countless humans, most of whom embodied a common trait: prideful idiocy. The audacity of humans to emulate and challenge his might, as seen in the misguided attempts of the Xillens, amused Monster X. They had even sought to replicate the power of Ghidorah to subjugate him, a futile endeavor that ended in their failure.
Yet, the prospect of a human controlling Gestroyah intrigued Monster X. He pondered the taste that such a fusion of entities would bring to the table. Would it be a spicy blend, a delectable amalgamation of human and monster essence? This unusual pairing might also explain Gestroyah's deviation from typical territorial behaviors; it was not simply a creature born of instinct but one crafted through a different process.
The hunger within Monster X intensified as he resumed his cosmic journey. Thoughts of a mid-snack or a full-course meal danced in his mind, the anticipation of savoring a unique fusion of human and monster flavors making his metaphorical taste buds tingle. The possibilities were as vast as the cosmos surrounding them, and Monster X relished the prospect of a meal that transcended the ordinary.

Excelsus Pov
Excelsus' ancient arachnid form quivered with the intensity of his rage, a tempest of fury coursing through his colossal frame. Setbacks had become the bane of his existence, a relentless barrage that had chipped away at his patience until all that remained was a seething wrath he never thought possible. The loss of his mightiest weapon against Dagon's bloodline, the escape and defiance of Griesus' formidable descendant, and the scars that now marred his once-pristine visage—each blow fueled the flames of his indignation.
As Excelsus brooded over his misfortunes, he found a scapegoat for his woes: Mother Nature herself. It seemed she had risen against him, a force actively rebelling and conspiring to thwart his dominion. The audacity! In his eyes, he was Excelsus, an ancient behemoth born at the inception of the world. Compared to his primordial might, the likes of Shimu and Caesar were insignificant. Yet, against all odds, these upstart challengers posed a greater threat than he had ever imagined.
His gaze fixed on Gestroyah, the hatchling at the center of his vexation. This creature was the catalyst for his recent string of failures. If he could bring it down, he would gain a significant advantage over the descendants of Dagon and Griesus. With newfound determination, Excelsus, the ancient alpha, set forth with purpose, his colossal limbs propelling him towards the source of his ire.
A deafening roar erupted from Excelsus, a command that echoed through the ranks of his monstrous minions. The time for hesitation had passed; it was time to bring an end to this relentless cycle of setbacks. His arachnid form, a manifestation of primordial fury, advanced with relentless determination. The very ground quaked beneath his monstrous stride as he led his forces into the heart of the conflict.
"This ends here and now!" he bellowed, his voice a thunderous proclamation that reverberated across the battleground. No more setbacks, no more compromises. Excelsus vowed to reclaim his rightful throne, even if it meant reducing the surface world to a desolate wasteland. The once-majestic landscape would bow to his dominion, or it would be annihilated in the process. The ancient arachnid, fueled by a burning desire for supremacy, pressed forward, a force of nature unleashed upon his enemies.
Gestroyah
During Excelsu internal strife, Gestroyah, with its three heads named Cody, Ning, and Odin, observed the unfolding scene with an air of curiosity. Kong gracefully dismounted Jor-Manda, receiving a respectful bow from the serpent deity. Gestroyah reciprocated the gesture with a pleased nod as its attention shifted to a familiar sci-fi vehicle emerging from a hole. The unmistakable scent of Jia, Slenra, and Spear wafted through the air, bringing a sense of relief.
However, the serenity was short-lived as attention shifted to the brewing confrontation between the titans, Godzilla and Kong. Odin squinted his eyes, his tone a mixture of concern and wry amusement. "Well, look at that. Godzilla and Kong, giving each other the stink eye."
Cody, displaying a worried expression, turned to Odin for guidance, seeking reassurance in uncertain times. "What do we do if they start fighting, Odin?"
Odin responded with a nonchalant shrug, a devil-may-care attitude evident in his demeanor. "Simple, mate. We knock 'em back to their senses."
Cody couldn't help but express his skepticism. "How do we do that?"
In a manner befitting his reckless persona, Odin suggested, "Just give 'em shock therapy. Give 'em a good jolt."
Ning, personifying the center head of Gestroyah, and Cody exchanged incredulous glances, almost instinctively feeling the need to preserve their dwindling brain cells. "Seriously, Odin?" Ning sighed.
"You want to piss off Godzilla and Kong?" Cody added, worried about the potential consequences.
"Sometimes you need a bit of tough love to deal with these idiots," Odin retorted, defending his unconventional approach. "Would it be preferable if these gits decided to fight each other for their pride?"
Ning, contemplating the situation, cast a wary glance toward Godzilla and Kong. They appeared to be on a tentative truce, yet an underlying sense of danger lingered. Cody, disheartened by the prospect of his father and friend clashing once again, sought an alternative. "Isn't there a more pacifistic approach? Like, oh, I don't know, maybe talking!"
Odin, unswayed by the suggestion, rolled his eyes, convinced that pacifism had no place in this clash of titans. "Pacifism won't work with these lads, mate."
Taking the reins of the discussion, Ning proposed a compromise. "We should be prepared for any outcome."
Eagerly turning to Ning, Cody inquired, "What do you suggest, Ning?" However, the air of despair that accompanied Ning's response dampened Cody's optimism.
"A bit of both. Shock therapy and a pacifistic approach. Cover all bases," Ning suggested with a pragmatic tone.
Odin couldn't help but bark in laughter and disbelief. "See, even he agrees with me, and he's the sanest one."
Cody, overwhelmed by the apparent madness of the situation, cried out in despair, "You're crazy! Both of you are crazy! WHY ARE YOU CRAZY!? NO, HOW CRAZY ARE YOU PEOPLE!?"
Upon hearing the resonant call of Excelsus, Gestroyah swiveled its monstrous form to witness an approaching army charging towards them. A sly grin crept across all three heads as they surveyed the scene, flanked by the formidable figures of Godzilla and Kong on either side. The unholy trinity of alphas, standing united, exuded an aura of dominance that promised destruction and chaos.
Taking a collective breath, all three alphas unleashed a simultaneous roar that reverberated across the entirety of the planet, shaking the very foundations of the world. Manda, responding to the alpha's call, slithered his way to Gestroyah's side. Battra, assuming a protective position on the opposite side, seemed almost like an overprotective uncle, his wings pulsating with shifting colors that gave the illusion of a larger, more imposing presence. Hovering behind them, Biollante emitted an ethereal pixie dust, creating an otherworldly spectacle. The monsters infected by Gestroyah's cells gathered before the alpha, eager to heed the call for bloodshed and the relentless spread of the infection.
King Kong, not to be outdone, rallied the creatures residing within Hollow Earth. Ymir, Kong's cousin, stood proudly by his side, pounding his chest and roaring, urging the monsters to join the ranks and aid their king.
Meanwhile, Godzilla mirrored Kong's actions, summoning his loyal monsters to stand beside him. Mothra, Rodan, and a colossal quadrupedal creature resembling an irradiated dinosaur named Anguirus emerged. With a head reminiscent of a ceratosaurus and styracosaurus hybrid, Anguirus had a face adorned with rows of serrated teeth and imposing tusks. His carapace boasted sharp spikes, and his tail, covered in more spikes, made up the majority of his body length.
Anguirus, the embodiment of innocence and passivity, curled into a ball and rebounded off multiple monsters, executing a unique display of agility before unrolling and sliding toward Godzilla. The monster's jubilant cry, "Whoo-hoo~ Top of the world, ma!" filled the air as he greeted Godzilla, the king of monsters.
"Hey, GZ! Long time, no see!" Anguirus exclaimed with infectious enthusiasm.
All three heads of Gestroyah refrained from chuckling as they witnessed Godzilla, their father, take a deep breath before responding. "Anguirus."
Anguirus, radiating genuine joy, beamed at Godzilla, creating a sun-like reflection that even made Battra wince. Despite the brightness, the insectoid creature found it difficult to harbor resentment; Anguirus's purity had a disarming effect. Godzilla, succumbing to the inevitable, sighed and engaged in a conversation with his amiable old friend.
"How've you been, old pal?" Anguirus inquired, maintaining his innocent smile.
The exchange prompted a blend of laughter and disbelief from the onlookers. Cody, Ning, and even Battra found themselves questioning just how Anguirus managed to consistently weave his way into Godzilla's heart.
"I have been well, my friend," Godzilla replied, unable to conceal the fondness in his voice.
Anguirus's smile, bright as ever, persisted, leaving Cody in awe. "Awesome! You know, I've been napping for quite some time. I missed all the action. What's new?"
Before Godzilla could respond, Anguirus, in his exuberance, preemptively interrupted himself. "Oh, you only call when there's way too much work, huh?" A fleeting expression of sadness crossed Anguirus's face before he swiftly rebounded, focusing on the positive. "But hey, let's focus on the positive! What sort of monster-sized problem are we dealing with?"
An exasperated Godzilla attempted to answer, but Anguirus, now on a roll, continued with his comedic guesses. "Wait, let me guess! Is Mothra having a baby? How did you manage that? You're like, bigger than her." His innocent pause, however, left an ominous undertone as he sensed a malevolent aura emanating from Mothra, who conveniently stood nearby.
"Hi, Mothra," Anguirus greeted, earning a blood-lusted glare from the queen. Oblivious to the brewing tension, he continued, "I didn't see you there. Are you, uh, expecting?"
Mothra, incensed by the false accusation, vehemently denied any such notion. "What!? No! What gave you that idea!?" Her frustration grew; why did everyone keep asking her that? A queen attends to her king's duties, and that's it. Why would Godzilla need her as an heir when he could just give birth to one in the first place? That's what... Battra taught her... oh. She might have miscalculated something.
Godzilla, equally puzzled, shot Mothra a disappointed glance. It's not like he hadn't tried, but Mothra seemed reluctant to provide him with an heir. Then again, he was still in his prime.
Anguirus, blissfully unaware of the brewing tension, pressed on with his innocent inquiries. "Has she just been on a binge-eating spree?" Unbeknownst to him, Mothra seethed with anger, contemplating whether to unleash her wrath.
"I think you need to tell her to lay off on feeding; her butt is bigger than her head," Anguirus continued, seemingly oblivious to the explosive situation he was inadvertently causing.
If Mothra was furious before, she was now fuming. Was she getting fat? If so, she wouldn't be able to fly and, therefore, be unable to aid Godzilla in his time of need. Turning her ire towards Rodan, Mothra roared, "Rodan, do I look fat to you?"
Rodan, wisely avoiding eye contact, glared at an enemy while silently pleading for aid from his queen's wrath.
Manda, ever the sadist, smirked at Rodan, who had no choice but to face Mothra's piercing gaze. Battra found himself torn between attacking Anguirus or cackling upon hearing his sister being labeled as fat.
Undeterred by the escalating chaos, Anguirus, displaying his unyielding innocence, continued his guessing game. "No? Okay, another one. Oh, I know! Godzilla, you got caught cheating on Mothra with another queen, didn't you?"
Unable to endure it any longer, Battra descended onto Manda's snout and cackled. "Even your best friend, who spent eons asleep, knows you cheated on my sister!"
"Huh, is that Battra?" Anguirus perked up, glancing towards Battra. "No long time, no see Batty~"
"It's been a while, Anguirus," Battra acknowledged.
Godzilla, having reached the limits of his patience, released steam from his nostrils and focused Anguirus's attention. "Focus on my friend."
Blinking in innocence, Anguirus apologized for his momentary lapse. "Sorry, I could have sworn my future thingy showed me you have a kid."
"That would be us," Ning said, engaging in battle alongside Odin and Cody, who unleashed havoc with an oxygen destroyer from a distance.
Anguirus blinks before turning his attention back to Godzilla. "They look nice," he remarked, simply observing the trio's coordinated efforts as they tore through their adversaries with ruthless efficiency.
"I envy your innocence." Godzilla sighed, caught between exasperation and a subtle fondness for his perpetually naive friend.
However, the light-hearted banter came to an abrupt halt as a familiar, metallic roar echoed from the east. A metallic beast, bearing a striking resemblance to Godzilla, emerged on the horizon.
Gestroyah's collective consciousness tensed; the arrival of Ghidorah could only spell disaster. If the nefarious three-headed golden dragon made an appearance, chaos would ensue, and Godzilla's focus would inevitably shift, leaving Excelsus to exploit the ensuing distraction.
As Godzilla locked eyes on Ghidorah's new form, a surge of rage overcame him. The body Ghidorah inhabited was none other than his father's—a desecration that even surpassed the malevolent actions of Prime Minister Muto.
"GODZILLA!" The thunderous roar that followed was a primal scream, a guttural release of anguish and fury.
The entire battlefield quivered in response to Godzilla's wrath. Gestroyah, Kong, and their monstrous allies momentarily halted their engagements, their attention drawn to the impending clash of titans.
The triune minds of Gestroyah struggled to contain their own turmoil. If Ghidorah had returned, the precarious balance between Godzilla and Kong could crumble. It was a delicate situation, and Gestroyah knew that their intervention might tip the scales one way or another.
The metallic beast, Ghidorah, now in the form of MechaGodzilla, fixed his malevolent gaze on Godzilla. The very air crackled with tension as the two arch-nemeses locked eyes.
For a brief moment, the cacophony of battle subsided, and all that remained was the impending confrontation between father and son.
Godzilla, his eyes ablaze with fury, took a step forward. Ghidorah was ready for the impending clash.
