Intense heat spread across the battlefield. Without wasting a moment, Excelsus swiftly lifted its remaining three bladed legs to counter the attack, but Gestroyah had other plans. Its three heads, Odin on the right, Ning in the center, and Cody on the left, simultaneously unleashed their signature breath attacks. Excelsus bellowed with rage, attempting to reshape the entire land to its advantage. However, Biollante intervened with her entwining vines and corrosive slimes, forcing the colossal arachnid to halt in order to avoid being ensnared.
Suddenly, a sonic boom reverberated through the air, and without warning, Battra rammed into Excelsus' back. The ancient alpha emitted a startled shriek of agony, only to have its mouth swiftly sealed shut by Mothra's silk. She then bombarded him with her radiant beams of light. In response, Excelsus forcefully brought one of its feet crashing down, causing a small mountain to rise as a shield against the assault.
Yet, in its haste, Excelsus was unprepared for Godzilla's unstoppable charge, bulldozing through the very same mountain that stood in its way. The current King of Monsters forged a path to Excelsus' vulnerable underbelly and unleashed its most potent nuclear ray, the crimson hue radiating with immense power. The intense heat seared through Excelsus, eliciting a pained cry as it was launched into the sky. It had barely regained its bearings when it noticed Gestroyah hurtling towards it, its arms transforming into razor-sharp serrated blades.
The ancient alpha could only endure the attack and grit through the agony as it was sent back to the earth. A cloud of dust and a large wave erupted from the crash as Excelsus tried to push the Gestroyah back while enduring the constant assault of their beams. To make it worse, Gestroyah had created tubes on its back to act as thrusters to put more pressure on the old spider.
Yet even then, it wasn't enough, as Excelsus used its legs to dig its way into the ground before using Gestroyah's tactic against it. Odin roared in defiance, biting the spider's leg while Cody bit one of its blind eyes as Ning unleashed a stream of fire, ash, and smoke. Turning the tables once again, Gestroyah made a beeline to the surface, only to be caught by Excelsus' corrosive webbing.
If this had been their younger form, they would be screaming in agony, but with their hardened scales built from the pressure and intense heat of the lava. It was an itch to be scratched.
Odin took control with one of their tails, severed the webbing, and made their way out as Excelsus chased them. The moment the chimera was able to get out with Excelsus right behind, Battra dived straight for Excelsus's head with the intent of beheading the ancient alpha with his stinger.
The destroyer roared with a cry, "Dive, Chop, Conquer! HUZZAH!" Unfortunately for Battra, he timed it wrong.
Excelsus took one glance at him, as he was the worst idiot in existence, and dove his head back into the hole. Battra could only let out a cry as he passed the enemy by a small margin. "Son of a bitch! I missed!" Battra yelled before face-planting on the sandy beach. "I hate that guy," Battra growled.
Battra then let out a surprised cry, trying to hold off an ovarian Kaiju from chomping off his head. Without any hesitation, Battra shoves one of his legs into the monster's heart before ripping it out.
The destroyer roared to the sky as thunderclouds responded to his roar before taking to the skies and attacking a horde of other Kaiju together with his twin. The two then started circling each other, simultaneously covering each other's blind spots.
When one got close to Mothra, Battra immediately tackled it before it could reach her and vomited acid on its face. With his back open, some monsters took this chance to attack him yet Mothra immediately chased after them and released a flash of blinding light. Battra quickly pulls himself up to the air, avoiding the same fate as the other blinded Kaiju.
As they floated above the clouds, Battra turned to his twin. "Mothra, remember that move I taught you?" He asked. Understanding what her twin meant, the queen of monsters made a screech as she soared above with her brother before the two held onto each other and dove back while spinning like a drill.
With a roar, the two unleashed bolts of lightning and rays of light in random directions, hitting anything unfortunate that tried to get too close before the twins suddenly separated themselves, causing a small spark that turned into a huge explosion.
On the ground, both father and son were fighting together as well. Godzilla was using every weapon he was born with. Claws, tail, legs, and teeth. None were spared from his fury as he stomped, slashed, chewed, and whipped his enemies.
Behind him, Gestroyah was more creative in destroying their enemies. Each head acted as a sentry, shooting beams of energy from their mouths while simultaneously using their power to tip the scales. Odin used his gravity beams to crush, pull, or throw his opponents. Ning, with a nuclear ray, sliced and pierced anything he saw, while Cody used their plasma cutter to enhance their claws and blades to stop any Kaiju from healing, even using his oxygen destroyer to render any monster dead.
Seeing more hoards coming their way, the chimera turned into a small swarm of themselves and smashed into the horde. Any monster they met was immediately devoured, leaving nothing—not even a drop of blood or bone. The swarm became one again and Gestroyah unleashed a pulse of energy that turned every monster to dust.
Biollante was holding off the monsters well on her own. She narrowly avoided Excelsus's attempt to bite her leg off. "You, I recognize you," Excelsus muttered, eyeing Biollante's original form. "I remember now; you were that youngling that tried to mate with Dagon."
If Biollante had her eyes, one could see a glint of anger and remnants of her insanity resurfacing.
The arachnid let out an amused chuckle. "So the whore finally found her match. How amusing." Then the arachnid smiled sadistically, only to lose it as Biollante smashed him with vines.
With a cry, Biollanted slammed her vines like a whip onto the arachnid's back repeatedly. Excelsus roared, making a mad dash for her neck but Biollante immediately puffed up a cloud of dust that made his senses go haywire. Everything hurt; his nose couldn't smell anything due to the strong odor that he couldn't understand. His remaining eyes stung as he couldn't close them. His breath became ragged before it was knocked out of his lungs as he felt himself dragged around before being lifted into the air and slammed to the earth.
The arachnid quickly freed himself and dug his way through the ground. "GET BACK HERE!" Biollante yelled, unearthing the ground.
Excelsus wouldn't dare admit it but he was surprised and terrified by the
whore's sudden display of strength. "I thought you could only control plants!" Excelsus said in shock.
"That was me looking for a mate," Biollante responded. "This is me fighting for my mate." The flower on top of Biollante's head started to sprout as light emitted from it. "You will pay for your arrogance and cruelty."
Biollante tilted her head and released a beam of light straight into Excelsus, who narrowly blocked it with his blades. The battlefield shook as the two ancient beings clashed with unmatched ferocity. Excelsus, despite its size and power, found itself struggling against Biollante's relentless assault.
Meanwhile, Gestroyah continued its devastating rampage. Odin, Ning, and Cody worked in perfect unison, each head coordinating attacks with precision. Odin's gravity beams crushed anything in their path, Cody's plasma cutter enhanced their slashing attacks, and Ning's nuclear ray pierced through the toughest of opponents. The chimera effortlessly switched between offense and defense, leaving a trail of defeated Kaiju in its wake.
Back in the sky, Battra and Mothra continued their aerial ballet, showcasing a synchronized dance of destruction. Their coordinated attacks created a dazzling display of lightning and light, striking down any Kaiju foolish enough to challenge them. The twins' mastery over the skies ensured that no creature could escape their wrath.
As the battle raged on, Godzilla fought with unyielding determination on the ground. His primal instincts drove him to unleash devastating attacks, and each swipe of his claws or swing of his tail left destruction in its wake. The King of Monsters was a force to be reckoned with, a relentless powerhouse in the midst of chaos.
Gestroyah, having repelled the incoming hordes, focused its attention on Excelsus. The chimera shifted back to its original form, with the heads working together to devise a strategy. Odin, with a burst of energy, propelled Gestroyah towards Excelsus, aiming to capitalize on the weakened state caused by Biollante's assault.
Excelsus, still grappling with Biollante, attempted to counter the incoming threat. However, Gestroyah's multifaceted assault proved too much. Ning's nuclear ray pierced through Excelsus' armored exterior, and Cody's plasma cutter severed crucial joints, rendering the ancient alpha increasingly vulnerable.
In a final effort to turn the tide, Excelsus unleashed a desperate surge of energy. The ground trembled as the ancient Arachnid summoned its reserves of power. The battlefield became a cataclysmic tableau, with beams of light, roars of fury, and the clash of titans echoing across the landscape.

Inside Hollow Earth, Kong panted as the open hole where his heart was located slowly closed, the process hindered by having only bits and pieces of Gestroyah's scale. The ape gasped, his attention fixed on the spear, which glowed with an aura of royalty.
Ymir marveled at the spear's beauty. The handle was wrapped in supple, deep-blue leather, embedded with small gemstones that caught and reflected light. At the pommel, a regal crest, resembling a stylized crown, was carved into a large, iridescent scale from a majestic winged serpent. The shaft, adorned with sections of bone from various Kaijus, formed a mosaic of textures and shapes. Each bone was meticulously cleaned, polished, and etched with symbols. Some bones were inscribed with gold leaf, adding a touch of tribal aesthetic. Bones from different Kaijus were strategically placed along the shaft, creating a regal, ribcage-like pattern with spikes from a powerful creature forming a jagged, fearsome edge. At the spear's center, a grip made of interwoven threads of gold and silver provided a comfortable yet firm hold for the wielder. Finally, the tip of the spear, its blade, was courtesy of Kong's blood brother.
Humans could only stare at the masterpiece, some questioning whether an ape could design something so beautiful. The complexity alone would have made it impossible, yet some apes had crafted something so compelling that it rallied others to witness who would wield it.
Manda slithered to inspect the spear before turning towards Jia and Slenra. There was a sigh of relief; he wouldn't lose his head for protecting the king's hatchling. Then, the serpent turned towards Kong and approached the ape.
"Did you find what you were looking for?" Manda hissed.
"I have," Kong said before hesitating to pick up the spear.
"Cousin?" the yeti asked.
Manda didn't need to be a genius to know why Kong was hesitating. "You're afraid," he uttered. Kong didn't find any shame in admitting it. Yes, he was afraid—afraid of tainting the last remnant of his kin, his ancestor's final masterpiece. "I... am unworthy." Someone like him, whoever couldn't protect his home, shouldn't hold this. If it were any other weapon, he wouldn't be having second thoughts. But the spear was Griesus' remaining legacy for someone worthy.
"Cousin, I do not understand," Ymir asked. Why was Kong hesitating now, of all times?
Manda remained silent before moving away and heading for the door. Kong turned to look at the leaving serpent before focusing back on the spear.
"Cousin!"
Kong turned, grunting as Manda's tail hit him at the mid-section of his body. Ymir immediately charged towards Manda, but the serpent was quicker and bit his leg. The venom then did its work, causing Ymir to fall, paralyzed.
Manda didn't bother to check on him; his eyes were on Kong, who was recovering. "I never thought I would see the day one of Griesus' kin would be a coward," he hissed in anger.
Kong roared, and both monsters rushed towards each other in fury. As they collided, the entire cave shook. Slenra wasted no time and rushed to Jia and Spear, placing them on her back. She whined when Jia tapped her head and signaled for her to go back and retrieve the two humans close to her.
With an annoyed growl, the T-rex complied and rushed back to pick up Nathan and Ilene A., just in time to avoid being crushed by Kong's foot.
"Why are they fighting!?" Ilene A. yelled in horror as Kong repeatedly smashed Manda to the ground.
"I don't know," Nathan replied, watching as they narrowly evaded falling rocks and debris.
Jia signed towards them, making a quick series of signs.
"A DISPUTE!? OVER WHAT!?" Nathan yelled.
Jia had no answer this time; even though she did have a hunch on why the two were fighting, it wasn't her place. Nathan pointed to their ship. "Over there, quick!" he yelled. Slenra roared and put in more effort as she made a beeline for the machinery.
Meanwhile, Kong and Manda continued their match as Manda tossed Kong away. "You think because you lost your home, you are unworthy?" the serpent growled. "That it gives you the right because you were so weak that you could do nothing but watch as your kin die? You decide you are unfit to rule!?"
"WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE ME!?"
"I am Manda, Ruler of Rivers and Mountains, Lord of Serpents!" Manda roared, headbutting Kong as they charged at each other. "You think you have the right to wallow in some self-pity while your ally, my alpha, is fighting a war—your war!" he yelled.
Kong roared and attempted to use the axe, only for Manda to strike first, countering him and pinning him to the ground. "I lost my land, my home, my treasures, my brothers, my children, and everyone else to Rodan's flames!" Manda yelled. "Everything was taken from me!"
"I was hunted by Dagon's hellspawn for defying his order to slumber!" Manda quickly released Kong from his entanglement.
"If you think you are unworthy, then why did you come here!?" Manda growled. "Why did you defy that thing's order? Why did you fight!?"
Kong didn't answer or rather, he knew the answer. It wasn't just because he was an alpha, but because of what he saw when he was young. His parents... His people fought to their last breath. They fought to be free. Because what is life without freedom?
As Kong continued to ponder over himself, Manda took the time to take the spear and throw it to Kong's feet. "Pick it up and finish the war your bloodline started," Manda hissed. "Then decide if you are unworthy of what you have."
Kong's eyes focused on the spear and held it. As soon as he did, his eyes widened, and power coursed through his veins. Manda felt the same, though it was brief; the spear had reacted to him as well; he could feel the changes happening to his body. He was becoming longer and larger.
For Kong, it was different. He didn't just feel the power coming from the spear but also some form of connection to all life. Everyone and everything were part of something bigger. Kong grabbed the axe and raised both weapons as he roared. Manda roared as he continued to grow as well, but Kong's was louder.
Across Hollow Earth, his roar echoed, and each Kaiju recognized this roar; this roar was something only those of higher power could make. It was the call of an alpha. A call to rally for war. But it was so much more.
King Caesar, who sat at the edge of a cliff where Kong's ancestral home could be seen, could only form a smile of nostalgia. The cub's blood may have been tainted, but his spirit was not.
King Caesar continued to watch as the monsters that he had sheltered rallied to Kong's side. But he couldn't hold back his laughter. Spreading his arms, the shepherd roared to the skies. "Kong, last son of Griesus, I, King Caesar, declare you ruler of the underworld! Salute to the new king! Salute to the birth of an ALPHA!"
As if responding to his words, the skies boomed with thunder; howls, screeches, and roars followed.

Back on the surface, Gestroyah, Biollante, Battra, Mothra, and Godzilla glared at a badly beaten Excelsus and his remaining army. Only to growl in annoyance as a phoenix-like Kaiju came and healed all of the arachnid's injuries, leaving only scars to show proof of the damage he sustained. Yet the arachnid was still exhausted.
On the other side, only Gestroyah and Godzilla remained in top condition to fight. Biollante, Mothra, and Battra were tired of keeping the monsters from providing aid.
"I hate those things," Battra muttered, glaring at the phoenix.
Before the two sides could resume their battle, the earth erupted, and out came Manda, now having grown so long and large that Gestroyah only recognized him by smell. Kong dropped down from Manda, and Cody couldn't hide his excitement, squealing out, "Oh my gosh, it's KRATOS!"
"WHAT!?" Ning and Odin yelled, turning to Cody.
