Chapter 179 - Reclaiming Citizenship And Suspicions

Aavesh gazed at the Infinite Starry night as he stood in the observation deck.

"Your documents have been processed and they are legitimate, Your blood report and Genetor Reports match, you have proved your identity", Rita entered and spoke to him.

"I am sensing a 'but' coming", Aavesh replied without turning his head.

"Quite right, We can't give you permission to enter Imperium Federation Systems immediately, there's someone who wants to meet you", She explained casually and a crisp strict sounding sets of footsteps followed in.

"Oh?", Aavesh turned in surprise and saw an old lady in Black Inquisitorial attire, old because of the complexion but her body seemed to be in her absolute prime.

She had piercing sharp green eyes, Blonde hair and Pale skin- like it had been bleached.

Suddenly A Burning Pure Golden Halo appeared above her forehead with glowing white wings sprouting behind her back.

Her piercing Gaze reached to look into his Soul and Aavesh returned the favor by unleashing his own Mythic Powers, The Orbs of Duality and the Silver Shadow emerged from within him.

The woman retracted her sharp gaze after a few moments and spoke sharply," I am Inquisitor Cawlfax- I was sent herw to verify your Existence and bring you in to face the Council of High Lords, as per the Lex Imperialis Protocols"

Aavesh didn't immediately reply, his patience was wearing thin now.

'So much for welcoming me with friendliness, guess you were wrong Sabine, the Federation looks at me like a monster or a an Expendable tool to be used for their designs', Aavesh thought bitterly.

But he could feel the piercing stare from Rita and the Inquisitor Cawlfax, awaiting his response.

"Do you think I am pushover? I haven't forgotten how you wanted to clean house using me or the fact that I am treated like a valuable pawn - You are using me for your own internal squabbles for which I have no interest in"

Rita winced at his reply and Cawlfax's face Hardened as she spoke again with a more intimidating voice," Shall I take that as a no then? Watch your nexts words carefully Adhi Spawn-"

"You would say that insult to Lord Vishwa's face, Inquisitor? No- because he is stronger than you just like how you are stronger than me currently- I think I've had enough being treated like a shitpost, I gave you my patience and was rewarded with indifference and disdain - Very well", Aavesh's eyes turned cold.

"You asked for this, Coral destroy the Turquoise Gas Planet, the good Inquisitor and the do called Neutral Factions need a wake up call- do it"

The Inquisitor and Rita gazed at him in a surprised manner and their eyes Widened in horror as they saw through the Observation Window behind Aavesh - the Turquoise Gas Planet got destroyed within seconds out of nowhere.

"I'll do the same to the Station, I can escape with ease but you all- Tch Tch Tch", Aavesh spoke calmly.

Rita bit her lip while the Inquisitor looked at him with a hateful gaze and reluctantly spoke," Forgive me, I underestimated your resourcefulness- I ask you to kindly attend the meeting of the Highlords in the conference room of your choosing "

She grinded her teeth as Aavesh gave her a light smile.

" Oh well, I guess the High Lords watching this farce have changed their minds about any designs regarding me , you can turn off your spy bugs you got sweet Rita to plant here, Rita I was grateful at first but your little spy shenanigans here have really soured my trust, To all the Factions, according to Lex Imperialis Protocols- I only need to be answerable to the council if I am a registered citizen of the Imperium Federation "

" But I am not and also according to the Protocol, I can refuse any summon order should I choose to, and now I don't want to because you have set the stage, you want to use me as a pawn "

"I will ignore your stupidity for now, but I am invoking the Lex Imperialis Protocols as well, I demand to reclaim my citizenship and Authority "

"And if you want my help with something, Negotiate it like normal human beings - I will not be your tool or not do I need to seek your seats of power, I have one mission now,- to become strong enough to kill Khorramzadeh, don't hinder me", Aavesh smiled coldly at the Inquisitor and the snooping Highlords.

He then walked towards the Inquisitor and spoke," you called me Adhi Spawn, tell me how many monsters did Khorramzadeh send to plague your Systems - I'm sure they have Adhi Lineage, but they are manufactured in Avernus, I've seen Khorramzadeh's own workshop myself when he tortured me"

The Inquisitor looked at him silently, but he could see the turmoil in her expression as she then muttered," Are you truly not one of his machinations?"

" No", Aavesh spoke, his words seemed to knock deeply into her Soul.

Aavesh then held her hand and she felt the festering hatred and barely controllable rage he held for Khorramzadeh.

"Oh- We were wrong, we were wrong! You - you are!",She began to mumble in stupor.

"I am Vengeance manifest, I am the Retribution of all innocent people that suffer under his torment, I am Tribulation", Aavesh spoke calmly but his eyes glowed blue as he let out an intimidating Aura.

"I see, then you must meet the Highlords, not as an Refugee, but as a claimant - to the Throne of the Imperium Federation!", Inquisitor Cawlfax suddenly spat this out crazily.

It was Aavesh's turn to be bewildered now.

"What?"

" Yes, we need a Symbol - One that all Highlords will put their weight behind, it won't be a Radiant Crusade but Divine Retribution manifest! You will be the New Symbol of the Imperium Federation! According to the ancient Lex Imperialis Protocols - you can begin the Ascension Process! If you do this, we can break Khorramzadeh's Empire into shambles!! ", She looked at Aavesh with a Powerful Zeal that took him back.

'what the fuck? What's with this behaviour? How did she change so suddenly?'

" You must meet the Highlords Prince Aavesh Adhi! You must meet them now! I will set up the Connection!", the Inquisitor Spoke so Zealously that Aavesh could only hold his doubts inside and agree for the Time Being.
