Welcome everyone. I'm Yuki, the host for today. Let's go to the first topic for today. As you can see in the title, it's about writers struggle.
Now, I'm a writer myself as I write this novel and 1 of my other novels and 1 other fanfic. It's not about my novels/fanfic but I want to tell you guys how we writers struggle to write our books or novels/fanfics for you readers to entertain yourself by reading it.
First of all, we wrote the stories as a hobby, money or whatever the other writers besides me do for.
One of the problems that we have is the spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, trying to find a synonym of some certain words and trying to put our ideas into words.
If you look into our search history, it's either filled with useless information, trying to find certain words / names or filled with things that are just weird, creepy or stupid. I'm going to be honest, my search history is filled with those things that I listed.
I mean, we writers need to know how poisons work, how they affect the human body, how anatomy works so they could write actions,like the character is bleeding, suffering from blood loss, We writers need to tell the readers how they feel! To describe how they're suffering from it! It's like telling it on their own POV. It's hard.
Sometimes we have trouble writing or typing on the blank sheet. There are so many things that we wanted to write yet we couldn't put it into words.
We planned many things inside our head. It's like we build a whole another world inside our heads. Many characters and side characters. We wrote our ideas down and started the story but some people find it boring, not many people read their book and it affects the writer.
It kind of hurts seeing nobody liked their ideas so they tried their best to improve their story. They write more and more chapters and then they leave it in hiatus or discontinue it but some people still didn't give up and are still writing and improving it. Eventually, there will be many readers who will read it.
Who knows maybe one day a reader reads the story and then they're like " oh my god, this is a masterpiece. I hope the author doesn't drop this " and they continue to follow and read the book that the writer wrote.
To all the writers out there who are reading this, don't give up on writing your story! Finish the thing that you started. You're the one who started it so finish it! I won't force you to do so but don't give up yet! There's still hope! Who knows one day you could make money, sell your story and many readers will enjoy it.
I know it's hard to write, I know it's hard to deal with your life and deal with this everyday. So take a short break, organize yourself, try to relax and enjoy your life to its fullest. Work hard and maybe it will pay off. So please don't give up!
