Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The sky howled loudly and the forest beneath shook constantly as the raging wind blew across the forest in a spiral form. The trees which were roughly 80 cm tall started to slowly elevate from the ground. The mountain near by rumbled violently and crumbled as the structure of the forest changed.
A cloud of dust raised obstructing the ground of the forest beneath as the tremendous air pressure sent various stones and debris flying. At the center of such destruction there stood a sign of a natural disaster a 'Tornado' measuring approximately 600 feet in length and with a width roughly 400 cm wide. Above the tornado was a gorgeous fairy like woman with long wavy green hair dancing in the wind.
She donned a long, beautiful gown that was decorated with various silver gemstones, on her back was two long pairs of wings made purely out of her own magical power. Her emerald eyes sparkled as she scanned her surroundings.
When her emerald eyes met with two pairs of red reptiles like eyes her mouth was upturned into a faint smile, she elegantly placed her hand at her smooth glossy pink lips and a small "Fufufu" escape her mouth.
"Ara, it's been so long since I last released this much power, please don't die on me too quickly."
She said in a delightful tone, her expression bewitching. The black serpent's eyes sharpened faintly at the sight of Alya's power, in those reptiles like eyes fear and weariness could be seen as well as a strong feeling of awe. However, it didn't seem like it was willing to go down that easy.
Seeing that Alya nodded her head as though greatly satisfied.
"Fufufu! very good, it seems you still have some fighting spirit left within you, that's good."
She murmured to herself.
"Wh-What is happening?!"
The brown-haired man suddenly exclaimed, while glancing around his surroundings. All he could see where countless trees were uprooted and raising from the forest and the cloud of dust that raised high into the sky in spiral form. He honestly wanted to pinch himself to check to see whether or not he was dreaming but, the strong wind brushing against his skin along with the stinging sensation of dust entering his eyes felt all too real to be a simple dream. All he could do was stay close to the green haired beauty for his life.
The bearded middle-aged man was also questioning his eyes, he didn't seem to want to believe that this was reality. he kept muttering something like "It can't be" or "It must be a nightmare, that's right I must have drunk too much last night."
His expression looked truly pitiful in the eyes of Alya who had glance back to look at them.
"Sigh, you two! stay behind me it might get a little rough."
She explained, before turning her eyes back onto the serpent who was trying its best not to get drag into the tornado that towered high above its head. Alya extended her smooth milky white hand following that gesture, two pair of swords made out of spirit arts materialized midair. They both changed their position and pointed directly at the place where the black serpent had been hiding itself.
Shoosh! Shoosh!
And with a flick of her fingers, the two swords shot forward like an arrow shot from a bow string. The force behind the raging wind only amplified the acceleration behind the force of the two swords. Soon they became two beautiful arcs of green light. They both cleared a distance of 500 meter in an instant, slicing up the trees that were in their paths along the way.
"Gragh!"
The black serpent let out a strange sound as its body was penetrated by the two swords and had been impaled onto a tree trunk, his black blood painting the bark of the tree. Its red eyes flicked faintly as it glared at Alya with clear hatred in its eyes.
The black serpent opened its huge jaw and strange liquid gathered there, it gathered at a single point and shot towards the figure of Alya in a speed that would be impossible to follow with the naked eyes but, Alya moved her right hand at the same time, a tree trunk that had been dancing in the wind until now promptly moved by the force of the wind pressure.
(I'm not falling for that again!)
She thought, as she manipulated the wind bringing more pieces of scattered tree trunks towards her as a shield. The acid like liquid made direct contact with the tree trunk and instantly they melted as though they had been slowly corroded.
(What a terrifying attack you have, if I have attempted to engaged in close combat and he had used this against me, I might had been in really bad trouble especially since I'd have to protect these two)
Alya thought to herself. She then moved the tornado to the side dodging the acid like attack once it had burnt its way through the tree trunks. The black serpent continued to stare at Alya with an angry glare from the tree trunk where it had been impaled, it didn't seem like it had any other means of attack, in that case.
"Hm, I must admit you were a rather entertaining opponent but, our time has come to an end, farewell now."
Alya said and closed her hand into a fist that small gesture signals the end of the black serpent. Following her gesture, the tornado moved forwards completely closing the distance between the black serpent and the body of the tornado. Without the slightest resistance the black serpent's body was swallowed whole and enclosed inside the tornado along with the body of the tree.
"Now die, death storm!"
Alya said in a cold voice. Inside the body of the tornado countless blades of wind materialized cutting the body of the black serpent's horizontally and vertically in all direction. The blood of the black serpent fell down from the sky like rainfall. At the same time the dark clouds cleared up and between the tiny gaps of the cloud's sunrays glittered through.
"Sigh, I'll have to spend some more time with Haruto later to recover my depleted mana."
She muttered, licking her lips. The tornado finally subsides as its enormous size rapidly decreases. The forest finally had regained its stability. Though, the vast greenery of the beautiful forest was now nothing more than a land with dried dirt and dust clouds that filled the air for at least one kilometer away, if mother nature was around, she would definitely be angry at the state the forest was in but, Alya didn't seem to care about that as she looked around with her emerald eyes shining mysteriously.
Alya and the two men had finally stepped onto the dried soil that had been upturned by the tornado just now. Alya's adult like body rapidly returned back to its original teenage appearance.
"Sigh, looks like I can't stay in my original form for very long, the amount of time I have depend on my mana, I guess I must be pretty drained right now."
Alya said to herself, but just then.
"U-Umm... miss."
The brown-haired man slowly called out to her from behind.
"Hm? What is it?"
She asked tilting her head.
"Ah, thank you so much for saving us from our predicament earlier."
He said his appreciation in a nervous tone. Seeing that Alya shook her head.
"I only save you because you were from that village, don't think much of it."
Alya said with indifference as she turned her gazed towards the distance. There from the northern side of the destroyed forest two silhouette was making their way to their direction.
