"What did you just say?" Ryder asked, looking at him like he spoke something in a language he could not understand.
"If he thinks that there is a way to live forever, then he's going to try for it," Hunter said looking through the clothes in the drawers. He was going thru it all piece by piece to see what would be good to wear. He was looking for something that fit, something that he could move in and above all he just wanted to cover these dumb marks, not that they weren't interesting to look at just the glow creeped him out. "Hey, are there no jeans and tee-shirts here?" Hunter said pulling out a shirt. He didn't recognize it other than the fact that it was a shirt, but the fact that it was clean and didn't have blood on it was enough for him at the moment. Not only that it covered those damn marks that wouldn't stop glowing. There were also a pair of pants, but they were of they same material. Sighing, he then starts to look for a pair of sneakers. As he starts looking through his hands brush over something, a gun? Is this a gun? He pulls it out to get a better look at it. It was a whole lot lighter than the ones he had seen and used in the past. There were other types some he knew, some he didn't, but all of them were very light in his hands. Almost like he had been holding them his entire life. He stuck some of them in the front just in case and he would have to ask about them later, then he got Willow and Xavier's attention. "Come on, we need to get you guys out of those clothes and into something....well....something that is cleaner," he felt like he was talking with some of the young pups when he was trying to get them dressed. Both had a view on what they should or should not be wearing and both started to have an attitude about it. It wasn't until Hunter told them that they were limited to what was inside the cabinet and if they wanted to pop an attitude he would choose what they would be wearing. After some consideration both of them stopped, "Ryder is there any form of pain killer around? This is giving me a headache," Hunter called from the cabinet Ryder just shook his head and laughed. In fact, he began laughing so hard that he didn't notice Anna come in with a book in her hands.
"What is so funny?" Anna asked. She had had enough people playing games and such that she was not ready for anything that Willow and Xavier would do now.
"It's nothing, just Willow and Xavier bickering again. It is definitely a good thing we have Hunter here because he stopped it, but he says it's starting to give him a headache. I will admit when those two aren't falling all over each other they are at each others throats. It is something if I could film it I would and make a fortune." Ryder said, wiping a tear from his cheek. He was still holding the wall and his stomach from laughing so hard. "So was there any problems getting out of there?"Ryder asked. He stopped laughing as he asked.
"Some, but I think that they will leave us alone for the rest of the trip," Anna said looking through her book. This made Hunter laugh as he heard it. "I am sorry, did I say something funny? Or maybe you just had something stuck in your throat," Anna said with a bit of hatred in her voice.
"We were just talking about that before you came in, Alpha Theodore..he will do anything to live longer, and now that he knows about them and what they can do he will want them" Hunter said. He walked over and stood in front of her something in the air caused a feeling of electricity. "It won't be to kill them, he will want to keep them in a cell somewhere. That way he would have it whenever he needed it," Hunter's eyes began to glow as he said this. He was trying to keep himself under control because he had done enough blowing up in the past. It's just this was the most stupid thing he had heard in a long time. Now he knew why there was a bunch of weapons in the cabinet.
"Boy. You are here for one reason and one reason only. To protect them," Anna pointed to Willow and Xavier as she said this. "And while I understand that at one point becoming what you are was considered a great honor, now, nobody wants to give up their warriors no matter what they will get. You Star Warriors are nothing more than babysitters and you need to remember that," Anna was almost yelling the last part. "I don't know why you wanted me to do that, Ryder! If he is anything like the rest of the members I just doomed these two!"
The whole room went quiet as Anna spoke, nobody could speak or move and if she was trying to strike fear into their hears she was doing a good job. If this happened to someone they were traveling with what would happen to them? Not to mention the thoughts of fear and anger that went through Ryder's mind. Leaving his bag Ryder left and told everyone he was off to get a drink. "Ryder can you go one day without a drink?" Anna yelled at him as he left. She threw the book on the floor and ran after him slamming the door. Anna could faintly be heard from across the hall.
"Guys, I think we need to break out of here. If my calculations are right then we should be close to dragon lands," Hunter said pulling things from the cabinet. "I do know a dragon or two so we have a good chance or at least a better one then one then on this train. So I need you to put these on and for the love of the Goddess stay quiet"Hunter was throwing clothes at Willow and Xavier. They didn't look like something that they would be wearing normally but right now they didn't care. Hunter looked through the bag that was left by Ryder and found a few things that could be useful one being the music player. He didn't have time to go through it or have much time to get things together so he decided to just take the whole bag. One or two blankets, some food and half of the weapons than he found Hunter looked over both Willow and Xavier. They were scared to be doing this again, and looked it. Hunter gave a reassuring smile that puts them halfway at ease as he looked out of the door. All three of them were scared of what could happen if they got caught, if they stayed. They were just scared of what was to happen to them after everything that happened.
Hunter didn't see anyone in the hall so he hurried both of them to the end of the car. "Damm, I don't know how to open this lock," Hunter said with anger. Xavier pushed him out of the way to look at it. "What is he doing?" Hunter whispered. He was now sweating bullets he could not remember a time when he felt like this and the marks began to glow a bit.
"Oh, Xavier was good at breaking into the school back home. I guess that skill is coming in handy now," Willow said, trying not to laugh. She also remembered all the times that she had to go to detention with him so he could have his tutoring and be able to get his homework done. It took only a minute or two before Xavier had the door open and was picking up Willow. "So I guess I shouldn't have complained about all those times you broke in" Willow said. Xavier just grinned at her and then ran out of the car followed by Hunter.
