Rustling leaves echoed all over the place. June pulled on his jacket as he felt how the winds grew colder in this part of the city. He found himself in an old house lying at the end of the road. It was clearly abandoned by its owners, but the place didn't seem to be vacant. After all, they just spotted a fire pit filled with cinders outside.
June walked up to the gate of the house and phased through to not alarm the occupants of the house. He made a round along the property, spotting laundry that was left out there to dry. At the collection of worn and patched-up clothing, he figured that the homeless had come to this house to take shelter. Turning invisible, he entered the house from the backdoor.
