It didn't matter now, though. June would just contact that guy again when he needed to—not that he already knew what would ask him to seek the advice of a murderer. For now, he would just go home and be ready for the following days.
Even if it was strange for Stallis not to do anything for the next few days, June thought that it was because he was running out of demons. With all these campaigns that he failed, Stallis was only feeding more and more of his manpower to Lucirien's forces. Moreover, a boss was already posting a bounty on June's head. It only meant that Stallis—or his contractor—couldn't do it anymore.
That was all that June had in his head for now. He couldn't actively push against those people, either. He didn't know which of his friends would be hit if he got too far away from them.
