Prudence only stared at June's smiling face when he said so. She had long felt that June had changed… no, something in him changed after the time that he left Drawn Wings. Sometimes, he was scary; most times, he was more open to showing his real colors. Right now, he didn't even hesitate to show off.
"…June, you…" Prudence's eyes quivered. She didn't know if she should say it, but she wanted to ask. It was not right; it didn't feel right. He was not acting the way she did. The thing he did… she didn't even know if that was something she could buy from the demon app.
"No wonder Reese kept on saying nothing bad will happen to us." Uncaring of Prudence's sentiments, Laura got inside the car first.
