Alexander tore his eyes open and saw Soren towering over him from behind. The questionable guy was even staring down at his face as if Soren could simply drive a blade to slit his neck.
The actor quickly pulled himself back and held down a scream to preserve his reputation. It would be bad if Kale spread a rumor of how he screamed like a little girl from fright. He, however, was still flustered; evident from his voice that cracked: "How the fuck did you get here?!"
Soren gestured at the now-open glass window. He then sat on the table as if shielding Kale from the other's gaze. "I warned Kale against meeting you, but he said you sounded desperate. I just wanted to make sure you're not thinking of doing anything to him."
"You're a madman." The actor curled up to pace his heartbeat before leaning on the chair again. "What Castelli? Are you saying that they're the ones summoning demons or some sort?"
