Chapter 42 - forty two

"Hurry up Nat, I need to help Jake in case his leg pains him," I said softly grabbing the huge cardboard box from him.

"I'll help him, you take this last box inside and rest, you've been out helping me for so long", he said handing combing my hair with his hands and then patting them. I smiled taking the box from him and ran inside as fast as I can. I mean I don't think I'd like to drop all this stuff.

"Wife!" Young-Jae yelled from the upstairs loudly. Ever since we got married last week he had been getting on my nerves. Fucker forgot I had a name.

"What!" I yelled back stomping upstairs. I found him on the balcony of our room which I picked because it gave a better view of the sky. I loved Korea. The sky was pretty, the country, the people everything was pretty. I'd been learning Korean from Hyun since he was quite the linguistic king.

"Come here, I'll show you something." He gestured with one arm and I walked to him, tucking myself under his arm that wrapped around me. I had gotten skinnier because of all the moving and also because I couldn't fit into my wedding gown.

"This. Is. My. Home." He said gesturing to the beautiful landscape in front of us.

"Mine too." He gave me a weird look and I shrugged.

"Wherever you are, wherever the boys are, is my home too." He kissed the top of my head grinning like an idiot and a comfortable silence fell upon the two of us. This was really nice, even the silence seemed comforting here. What a place, what a time to be alive. I closed my eyes taking in the fresh evening air. I heard there was a popular river around here which the boys thought I should definitely visit. A very loud 'wohoo' boomed through the house making me click my tongue in annoyance.

Of course, the silence was not liked by my lovely brothers.

Soon enough there was a lot of running around the house and 'tootsie slide' started playing making the both of us turn around and quickly run down to join the party.

"Ah here they are! The just-married couple!" Trevor hollered making me blush and touch my wedding ring. A habit I developed the day it was on my finger.

"Alright! Don't waste time Bee, we need to dance." Hyun said strictly.

"We don't 'need' to Hyun, you just 'want' to." I said adding finger quotes to it.

"The dance school hasn't even selected you yet and you're already being strict at home, imagine the nightmares the kids will have." Seok-Min sighed slinging an arm around my shoulder. Hyun groaned and we all laugh before starting the dance party.

"Bee, wake up, I'm hungry, everybody's making chaos in the house." Kyle shook me and I shot up from the bed. I knew it. They can't do shit without me.

"Let me wake him up and get freshened up," I rolled on my back landing directly on top of him.

"PD Min, aren't you gonna be late for your project?" I asked and he shuffled onto his back wrapping his arms around my waist throwing me off him playfully before running into the bathroom. I ran with him into the bathroom and sat on the counter opening my mouth like we do when we brush. He sighed in adoration before holding my face with one hand and the other brushing my teeth. I rinsed my mouth soon enough and threw on his oversized hoodie, which was over-oversized on me. It was a little cold.

"I'll be with the boys." He mumbled an 'okay' still brushing and I went out the bathroom again.

"Bee?" I turned my head towards a sleepy Trevor and he looked at me with guilty eyes.

"What did you do?" I asked rubbing my forehead.

"I lost my glasses", he says softly. I smiled at him and entered Jake's room.

"Here, you gave them to Jake yesterday." He thanked me quickly going back to his room to get ready. He applied for a job related to cyberbullying, I didn't exactly remember what it was called.

"Nat, Min, you both ready?" I asked peeking into their room only to find Seok-Min tying Nathan's tie.

"Yeah, almost done, I just need to wear my shoes," Seok-Min mumbled and Nathan passed them to him.

"Do I really have to wake up this early every day if I'm gonna be a teacher?" Nathan asked and Seok-Min gave him a bored look with me before quickly tying his laces and kissing Nathan on his cheek. He had been asking that for the previous week.

"Bee, are you sure you won't be lost looking for the clinic?" Seok-Min asked holding me by the shoulders.

"Kyle's gonna drop me off before going off to college." He nodded ruffling my hair and went out the door.

"Don't be out too late, we're gonna have dinner together after Seok-Min's interview." Seok-Min was taking up acting as a major.

"What about Jake?" I asked him in a quiet voice.

"He'll be able to dance in a month or two, don't worry, Hyun 's gonna keep an eye on him." I made a duck face at him and he laughed before leaving the house.

"Trevor! I want you out of the house in ten minutes." I yelled and he appeared in the hallway with puppy eyes.

"I'm done, can you give me a little cash?" He asked and I tilted my head at him.

"Why are you asking? Take it out of my wallet. It's on the dining table. I'm gonna take a shower alright. All the best, do well at everything." I kissed his cheek and went upstairs.

"Wear the dress I bought for you, today." He yelled behind my back and I yelled back an 'okay'.

"PDnim, there are other people in the house that need to go for work too." I knocked on the bathroom door and he came out with a towel wrapped around his waist making me choke on my spit.

"Oh my god, are you okay wife ?" He asked holding his laughter in. I glared at him before regaining my composure and putting my arm around his neck to pull him down. He kisses me eagerly and I used my other hand to pull his towel away.

His eyes shot open in between the kiss as cold air hit his skin. I pulled away from him and threw the towel in the other corner of the room before going around him and lightly spanking his ass. His face turned blood red at that and he quickly tried to grab me but I ran into the bathroom and closed the door behind me, both laughing.

When I came out of the bathroom he was completely dressed in black. Head to toe, the only exception being his white hair. He turned his gaze away from the morning view of the city to me and smiled. His eyes show a lot of emotions but the one that persisted was content.

"Why are you standing there?" I asked him putting on the black dress.

"Trying to see the world like you do." I removed the towel from my hair at that and threw it on the chair walking to him at the window.

"What do you mean?" I asked hugging him from behind and pulled me in front of him, back hugging me. He sighed after taking in the scent of my shampoo.

"You know, how you always look at the sky wherever we are, I'm trying to understand why."

"I like the sky." He hummed at that swaying us from side to side.

"But why?"

"Because it teaches me how far I can go, how many stories, how many lives I can paint on it. The sky reminds me of the times that are yet to come."

"I only see you in it."

"Me?"

"Yeah you, it reminds me of you, made with so much inside but just a blank canvas outside."

"Oh, someone's getting poetic today." I nudged him a little and he laughed.

"It is a beautiful thing." He said kissing me.

"The sky gives us reasons to live," I said parting from his lips.

"Just like you do for me."
