I woke up to someone shaking me. Opening my eyes I see Jim looking at me with concern. "What's wrong? Are we there?" I asked, I could barely speak and I knew why. "Yea, I tried waking you two hours ago but you out cold. You were basically sleeping like the dead." Jim said, concern still creasing his face. "I must be really tired." I laughed it off. He looked at me one more time then looked back towards the boys. I looked around and the sun had just started setting. Then I looked back there too and they were both knocked out cold. "When did they go back to sleep?" I asked starting to worry about them. "It took them awhile. Actually when I was trying to wake you up Reilly fell asleep. Then Ryjel said that you fell dead asleep sometimes. Well he said at least once a week. But he said it stopped when you guys ran from Blake and the foster system. Then he fell asleep a little later." Looking back at me with worry he was about to say something more but then someone knocked on the window. Jim rolled it down to see Gabe and Granny lil. "Let's go in the king is expecting us." She said then looked at the boys in the back and smiled. "Gabe and Eliot can take the boys to their room then they'll join us." Granny finished opening the door for Jim. I opened and stepped out my door then closed it. As soon as I stood up straight all the dizziness that I thought was gone came back and it doubled. My stomach rumbled and a sharp pain followed. I had now just realized I hadn't eaten in almost two days! Granny came around and locked arms with me and boy was a thankful. I don't think I would have been able to walk if it wasn't for her. I tried my hardest not to lean on her otherwise she'll definitely know something was up. "Are you ok sweet? Jim told us what happened to you. I'm really worried. When you came back this afternoon you didn't seem quite right. Is there something you want to talk about? I can help you so no one else will find out." She whispered. "I-I'll be fine. I just have a little dizziness. It's nothing I can't handle." I said trying to stop this conversation. "Honey it's not a little dizziness. You're have trouble walking! Baby girl you need to stop acting like everything is ok. It's clear as day to me anyway that you are struggling with your past and that it keeps coming to pull you back down when you've just started to feel safe and feel that everything is turning around. And it is but you need to except my help and to trust me." She said as we entered the castle. "I'm sorry..... it's hard but I'll give it a try." I said too tired to put up a fight and tell her everything's fine. She nodded her agreement and we continued walking silence. I looked around and then I saw it. This was the exact same castle that I saw when I had that Vision! Wait no I didn't have a vision I used my gift but I don't know how. I'll figure it out when I'm less dizzy. I felt myself leaning more on granny..... this wasn't good I thought. My world started spinning and then it went from blurry to black.
I felt a piercing pain shoot throughout my head. I opened my eyes to see the sun shining through the window. I sat up and pushed the comforter off me. I was still in my body fitted crop top and leggings. I looked in the mirror to see my hair all frizzy. It literally looked like a bomb went off. I had a headache but that is just the after effect that happens after the dizziness. Which usually doesn't go away for three days so if I had to guess that is how long I've been asleep. My door opened and I spun around to see who it was. It was granny. I wave of relief washed over me. "Chloe, you shouldn't be up." she said immediately steering me to the bed. "It's ok granny. I'm ok now. It just needed a couple days to where off and now it has you don't have to worry anymore." I say turning towards her. This makes her stop and she just looks at me with a worried look. "You can tell if someone is lying by their pulse quickening. And if I tell you I'm ok then you would know if I was lying. I've been through this numerous times I know when it has worn off. I'm perfectly fine now. I swear." I said with a smile. She lets out a sigh and nods her head. "Ok, but if you feel even the tiniest bit of dizziness then you go straight to bed no matter what. Clear?" She said completely serious. I nod my agreement. Then she gives a small smile, "we have delayed the meeting for two days now. We have to have it now, but you can eat after. Also we're in the royal castle at the moment. So you'll have to be careful about how you act around others. Oh and here Jim and Eliot are Marquises. They are the sons of the Duke and Duchess. Their father is the brother of the King. So I would be careful my dear even though they wouldn't hurt you." "Got it." I nodded we walked down the stairs and I looked around. Some of the stuff looked familiar. But I couldn't place it for some reason. We entered into what looked like a conference room. She sat me down on the left then she took a seat on the right in front of me. Jim and Eliot came in not soon after. "I'm glad you're ok"Jim said with a smile. I smiled back but said nothing. Then a man that walked in looked so familiar... then it hit me. "Sam!?" I asked in disbelief. "Ah, ms. Chloe it is nice to see you again!" He said as he took a seat by granny lil. "You know him?" Eliot asked. "Yea, he helped me in one of my fights. I won and these guys got made cause the bet on the wrong guy and they tried to hurt me but thanks to him I got outa there without a scratch." I said with a smile. "You give me way too much credit. And if my memory serves me right I believe you thought I was annoying at the time?" He asked raising a brow. "To be fair I have a family to raise and I was afraid you worked for Blake." I said. The door opened and everyone stood except me. Jim looked down then tried to help me up but I waved him off and stood by myself. A man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He looked very strong. His outfit is very elegant and it suits him well. He looked at me and his eyes slightly widened in surprise then he went back to normal. He sat down and everyone did the same. "What news do you have for me today Elder Lilian?" The man asked. I remembered this man from my vision. The Admiral had referred to him as hi majesty or the king. "Getting here was easier than expected since Blake found out about us but thankfully he didn't chase us. We did arrive earlier than we were planning but Ms. Verose got abducted and Blake knew where we were so we thought it would be best to leave early." She said finishing what I assumed was the report. "Hmm, we will have to deal with this Blake won't we?" The king said pondering this new information. "It's not going to be as easy as you think." I said under my breath forgetting all werewolves had super hearing. Everyone snapped their attention to me. Even the king did. Sam gave me the look that said 'you just said that to the KING!' But I didn't care I can take care of myself. "I mean I know from experience. He taught me how to fight and even though I am just a half blood doesn't mean I can't kill a werewolf in five seconds. There is only one person in the entire world who I can't beat and that is Blake himself. He made sure of it. So believe me when I say no one you send will be able to beat him unless they have advanced training." I finished my thought but this time I didn't whisper it. "She is a brave one isn't she?" The king said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and shrugged. "Being raised by a psychopath makes it harder for you to be afraid of anything." I said bluntly. The king laughs while everyone else looks at each other nervously. "You have spirit! I like that kid. You are obviously not afraid to let your thought come out when it come to the battle field. I wonder how much your brothers know?" He said with a smile. "As I said before I've never had a normal childhood and I will never let my brothers have the childhood I had so let's keep them out of it ok. Unless you don't want the information on Blake." I said in a cold voice. Dammit my wolf is taking control! "I mean no disrespect it's just when it comes to my family I am very possessive." I said trying to fix my mistake. "It's alright what you have been through is unimaginable and you shouldn't have gone through that." He said in a soft voice. "Anyway your majesty, is the Admiral's squad able to handle Blake?" Sam asked. "Why don't you ask him yourself Elder Sam." The king replied. In that moment the man from my vision walked in and handed the king a file. He looked at Sam and smiled. "Are you doubting my squad Elder Sam?" The man asked in a cold tone. "Of course not Admiral Jackson, it's just that what Chloe said brings me concern. If he is as powerful as she says then we need more people that are more powerful than he is." Sam said match the man's tone. I looked at granny lil as the men laughed. She looked back with worry in her eyes. I had forgotten one side effect that happened after the dizziness and headache. I immediately stood up causing everyone to stare at me. "If you'll just give me one second." I said before I bolted to the door. I ran out that door and found the front door down a flight of stairs. Quickly running down those I burst through the door then I hide in the bushes. I heave several times before I get my breathing under control again. When I was finished I laid my head on the wall and just sat there in exhaustion. I sighed and closed my eyes and just took deep breaths. I heard giggling and I knew who those giggles belonged too. I stood up and followed them. I was almost there when I bumped into someone. When I looked up there was a boy who looked to be four years older than I was but he just stared at me. He had milk chocolate hair and beautiful grey-ish blue eyes. But the giggles again brought me out of my trance. For some reason I felt pulled to him and he made my stomach do flips. "Sorry" I muttered and then went around him and ran towards the giggles. When I finally found where they were coming from I stopped when I saw them playing. Ryjel and Reilly were have so much fun. They both caught sight of me and ran towards me. I bent down as they hugged me super tight. I felt someone watching us but I didn't care I just wanted to be with my brothers. "Are you ok?" Ryjel asked. "I'm better yes." I said with a nod. "Good because I was starting to get worried that you had lost to much blood this time." Reilly said. These boys are too smart for their age and it makes me proud! "You know it's just one of the side effects I can handle it. I've done it a hundred times" I said trying to get them to stop worrying. "But Blake makes you rest for days before he has you do anything after he takes your blood. But this time you ran away even when you were still loosing blood. And you kept pushing yourself even through the dizziness." Ryjel said still worried. "I'm super glad to have you as my sister." Reilly said hugging me again. "I'll get better don't worry." I said pulling them closer and rubbing their backs. When we got up there was the boy I ran into on my way here. "I'm really sorry about bumping into you." I said. "No don't worry you have to little brothers you were worrying about it's only natural. The boy said with a kind smile. "I'm Chloe Verose." I said with a small smile. "And I am Crown Prince Kadence James Taylor."
