The monster felt like its pride was challenged. It gave a loud roar, and a violent wind rippled the water around them.
Aidan stood up and also pointed his sword at the beast beside Edoma. "By the way. Since when did we become husband and wife?"
"Since you look at my naked body, silly."
Aidan blushed and ignored her remark.
Suddenly, the monster shone and its scales turned snow white and flawless without the dirt and stain of earlier scales. A pair of white horns grew from all three of its heads.
"Is it evolving?"
"It seemed like so."
The monster exuded a bloody aura despite its appearance.
That was weird. Last time, the Blade Leaper evolved because it was struggling and it was terribly wounded. But why did this beast evolve even without a fatal wound?
'Wait, I struck its belly earlier. It must have been bleeding to death since the beginning.'
"Edoma, Sofiel. Both of you distract the beast. I will go under and attack its belly again."
