After reading the mission, Aidan understood that to enter the next level, it couldn't happen anytime or anywhere like what Gomon said.
At least for him, he had to kill a monster twice his level. And not completing it also meant he would be stuck at level 10. Which was unacceptable because he wanted to travel the world and needed strength to defend himself.
Killing a monster twice his level was hard and might be downright impossible.
'Wait, didn't I kill that Blade Leaper?'
