"Ahh!" the four of them screamed as they flew through the air inside the golem.
The golem morphed into a ball and crashed into the stone ridge. It rolled down like a boulder before crashing into a tree. The birds cried out and flew away, rustling the leaves. Aidan felt pain all over his body as he groaned. He touched his back and trembled. It was broken.
He healed himself with internal healing and immediately approached Kalukaga, Gomon, and Siraye Yeskalyn. They fared worse than him, with broken legs and twisted arms. Especially Gomon, who was lying unconscious with Kalukaga on top of him.
You have failed your mission [Swarm of Homocibus], removing mission.
Aidan ignored the notification and pushed Kalukaga from the child-like Gomon, lest he died from suffocation. He surged his power into their body. Their twisted arms crack and return to their original position as their wounds closed in one after another. Though they didn't wake up yet. But they were completely healed.
Imagine if Aidan didn't have this power, he could only watch them die in this damnable of a place. Speaking of which, where are they now?
The golem opened a hole to the outside and rays of light poured in. Outside, the wind blew the giant leaves of a tall tree with blue vines drooped down from its branches. It was that tree that had saved his life or one of its kind at least.
"Ugh..." Gomon woke up and shook his head. "What happened?"
Siraye Yeskalyn and Kalukaga opened their eyes and jolted awake, weapons in hand. Their eyes narrowed with apprehension and their limbs tensed with vigilance. But when they saw Gomon and Aidan, they put their weapon on their back and calmed.
"Where are we?" Siraye asked as she looked at the hole.
Aidan shook his head. "I don't know. I just woke up and healed you guys."
Kalukaga looked up and narrowed his eyes. "Go out."
"Before that, please wait for a minute." Gomon tapped twice on the golem and a small hole opened itself and revealed a small bag inside. He took out the bag, wore its leather string over his shoulder. Next, he took another bag that had a belt of which he strapped to his waist and left leg. "Okay, I'm ready,"
He stood up, hands on his waist. The small body of his was fit inside this short, crammed golem. Well, it was built for him, after all. Its ability to accommodate them was good enough. Though it seemed it could morph around to make more space.
"Let's go," Siraye said. She climbed out of the hole, Kalukaga followed from behind.
"Can you help me up?" Gomon looked at Aidan.
"Sure." Aidan picked Gomon like a child and helped him out of the golem.
The place where they were stranded was in the forest right beside the ridge they rolled from.

Quest Hint: Find a way back to school
Quest Reward: 20,000 Experience
Aidan wrinkled his eyebrows. If the system issued a mission for this, it meant that going back home would be a challenge.
He heard a rattle from the forest. A shadow slithered left and right, going in and out of the bushes.
"Guys," Aidan said, "I think something is coming towards us."
Kalukaga and the steel ape golem walked to the front, stance ready for the battle ahead. Behind them, Gomon and Siraye prepared their weapon, with Siraye having her knees bent and a finger on the trigger. While Gomon took out a rod that morphed into a crown and wore it on his head. Electricity flashed from the crown and ejected 5 chains that dangled around him.
He couldn't help but feel left out. Everyone had brandished their cool weapons, but he only had his fists to rely on. When he go back, he would get a weapon of his own.
The shadows slithered closer and closer, making rattling noises as it approached them.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
The shadows stirred the thickets and leaped towards them. It was a green snake as big as a crocodile and as long as two men stacked upon each other. It hissed and revealed a pair of fangs and bit down at the golem.
"Attack!" Kalukaga charged with his axe-hammer, leaped towards the snake, and swung his weapons.
The snake moved its tail like a whip and flung Kalukaga away.
Siraye fired her arrows, but it ricocheted off the snake's scale
Damn, why was every monster he met have to be so strong? Wait, I forgot I have that ability. [Analyze]
The fate energy within Aidan surged towards his eyes and a panel appeared in front of him.
HP: 250
Energy: 0
Skills: [Poisonous Fangs], [Whiplash], [Sudden Strike]
It had 250 health. That didn't seem much.
At this time, the golem grabbed the snake and absorbed the snake's head to its body. The snake twisted about and entangled the golem. Crushing it with great pressure. The golem cracked, and the snake pulled its head out.
The chains from Gomon's crown shot towards the snake, but they bounced off its scale.
Siraye fired her arrows with icy mist and it flew towards the snake's mouth before freezing its head.
A chance!
Aidan dashed forward with a powered kick, leaped towards the snake, and surged the fate energy within his body towards his right arm.
"Knockout Punch!"
He slammed a fist towards the snake's head, shattering the ice and dealing significant damage.

The snake fell to the side.
"It's unconscious! Quick, kill it!"
Aidan ran to the snake's head and barreled the head with his punches filled with fate energy.

Where should I add these 10 points to? Aidan thought as he put a finger on his chin. Strength increased the damage output and the weight he could lift. That will let him wield heavier weapons, which could increase his damage even more. But dexterity would make him fast and agile. And could be useful in a situation where he would need to run away.
Why not both? He thought. That was right, if he added both 5 points to strength and dexterity, he would get speed and power at the same time. And according to the laws of physics, mass times acceleration equals force. Aidan felt confident and added five points to strength and dexterity.
Aidan felt a new strength enter his body. He dashed from side to side and throw a couple of punches and sure enough; he was faster than before.
"What are you doing?" Gomon asked. Kalukaga and Siraye also looked at him.
"Nothing, just cooling off after a fight."
Gomon glanced at the snake and lifted his chain. "I guess I need to make this thing sharper. Haha, teacher was right. Only when you go out and fight, would you learn something new."
"There's something inside the snake," Siraye said.
"What's there except mucus, digestive enzymes, and gastric juices?" Gomon asked. "Wait, are you really going inside that snake?"
Siraye opened the mouth of the snake and crawled inside, while Kalukaga approached the snake and held the mouth open.
"If you're looking for the energy core, don't bother. This low-level creature wouldn't have it," Gomon said.
"There's a person!" Siraye said, inside the snake.
"A person?" Aidan asked.
If a person was swallowed by a snake, they would survive, right? Unless they are digested by the stomach of the snake, a human would come out alive. He thought.
"If there's a person, then he or she must have died from suffocation."
Siraye crawled back as she dragged something inside the snake.
"Kalukaga, drag her," Aidan said as he held the mouth of the snake.
Kalukaga grabbed Siraye's leg and pulled her out of the snake's mouth. She was covered in slimy mucus all over her body, but a more pressing thing was the person she dragged did not have any stain on her white clothes at all. The wind blew her short black hair that covered both of her ears. It was slightly disheveled, which made her sleeping face look cute.
She held a book in her hands, clutching it on her chest like it was a treasure.
"Heal her," Siraye said.
She didn't seem to be hurt, but Aidan approached and healed her.
"My power cannot wake her up. It can only heal."
"Should I electrocute her?" Gomon asked.
Aidan and the rest stared at him with narrowed eyes.
"That was a joke."
"Shake her," Kalukaga said, grabbing her shoulders and shaking her body back and forth.
"That's not how you wake up a lady," Gomon said.
At least it's better than electrocuting her, Aidan thought.
The girl opened her eyes and rubbed them as Kalukaga stepped back. She blinked a few times and sat up.
"Where am I?"
"You were inside that snake earlier. Are you okay?" Aidan asked.
The girl inspected her body. "I think so." She glanced at the snake. "Ah, so it was a snake that attacked me. What a naughty one. If it just calmly come to me, I would have given it lots of biscuits."
Pretty sure a snake wouldn't have any of your biscuits, young lady, Aidan thought.
"Well, at least you are not hurt. What would you do now? We would like to find our way back to school. We are a bit lost too"
"School? What school?"
"Bleassephere University."
"I'm actually about to go there, too. But a super fast bird attacked me and drop me down into this forest. Then I was swallowed by this snake."
Damn, that pcerodactl couldn't pick a guy its own size. They always have to pick up innocent young men and ladies and threw them into a forest.
Aidan offered her a hand. "In that case let's go together. My name is Aidan."
The girl smiled sweetly. "Sofiel."
