Aidan sighed as he entered the backyard. He had told Mrs. Stras that he won't be going to class today and would like to train in the backyard.
He was confused, so he hoped fighting against monsters would clear his head.
He ran inside the forest, killing any monsters he saw and looting them.
The sight of the glowing butterflies flying into the sky soothed him. It made him feel better already.
He took a deep breath then slapped his own cheek and smiled wide. "Forget about the brainwashing, I should have fun."
Aidan roared as he jumped onto a monster and slashed it with his sword. The beast died in one attack.
"Too weak. I need to fight a stronger monster. The weak ones aren't fun."
'Should he try fighting a doomhound?'
Aidan could defeat an adult Recpeodatyl, so a doom hound should be easy."
But where would he find one?
"Ahh!"
Aidan heard someone screaming and tried to find its source.
He saw a bunch of shadows fluttering through the forest, passing trees and bushes.
