Kenneth got hold of his brother, carried him to a horse and rode off upto home. All he was afraid of was their parents' reaction about this, so he carried him up trying not to let the king and queen know about this but unfortunately bumped into her mother.
"what's wrong ken." she asked suprised and her eyes fell on Dan who was seriously bleeding.
"what happened to him." she asked running to him.
"Mum..... actually he got an accident. He fell off his horse." he said still doubting if his mom was believing him. She narrowed her eyes and reacted with a scornful look.
"Oh Kenny I thought it's your obligation to take care of him, I don't believe you." she continued
"Still if it was a horse, he couldn't have got such a damage. That seems to be an injury caused by a dagger."
"Now tell me the truth what happened." she asked questioningly demanding for an answer.
Kenny could no longer hide the truth and had now to speak it out.
"Actually mom we got attacked by something I can actually....call a ghost. he said still doubting himself.
His mom burst into laughter until she felt that she can at last speak a word.
"My boy what do you mean, your funny your sure it was a ghost."
She quickly ordered the guards that quickly carried Dan away upto his room where they began giving first aid to him.
Kenny began telling her everything but as they
were still conversing, the king came and looked at them with a worried face.
"what is it that I have just seen, did you two get into a fight or something."
"oh honey, you don't have to worry bout that." the Queen began in a soft voice while going for his husband.
"Our boys love each other they can't get into a fight but they were attacked basing on his statements." She looked upto him that the king began fodging smiles.
"So can you please tell me what happened." he asked looking upto Kenny and back to his wife.
He was really fade up with the way his wife kept on spoiling there sons, they did everything they did knowing that there's support from there mother and we're actually right because even though they we're wrong or right she was there to support.
"I will tell you everything cos I don't think Kenny is feeling alright.....and can we really excuse him for a while". she said while going for his hand and finally they out of sight.
Kenny felt relieved at the sight of his mother taking his dad away who had come to strike him with words, first of all they didn't finish work in the fields and him seeing Dan who was badly wounded added to his furry but lucky enough his mother was around and saved him from that.
He went to his room to change and then went to see his brother.
"Abigail can you please tell me what was the meaning of that ." he asked with annoyance.
" Your majesty, you don't have to behave like that towards them." she said letting go of his hand.
"they got attacked while coming back from the fields, I had told you not to send them so see what has happened infact they are sturbon like you. there's no need to blame them." she continued
"He told me something about ghosts attacking them can you also believe it," she looked at him for approval.
"Such a big boy to say something like that... ghosts are no more unless they tempered with the forest but there's nothing like that I don't believe it." he answered her.
A smile came on her face and she looked upto his husband
"And they were female it's so interesting."
"Really " it was all the king could respond
"Then I guess the training isn't enough I wonder what kind of kings they are gonna be." he is being sarcastic towards my boys Abigail thought to herself.
"But as I told they were female and you know it's unfair to hurt a lady that's why this happened."
the king wasn't in the moods of this continuous argument so he had to give to get time for his other duties.
