A young boy stood alone in the snow filled land. Shimmering tears slowly flowed from his raven black eyes down his pale face. He started limping forwards, mustering all the energy he could into his frail legs, hoping that there was someone, something that could help him. But there wasn't. He fell face first into the soft snow, cushioning his fall, as if it was an apology for the chilling frost that crept up his spine. As he took his last breaths, he looked upon the mist escaping his dry lips.
"Ah" he thought "I'm dead"
Or that was what was supposed to happen.
A bright light entered the eternal darkness, grabbing the boy and pulling him away. However, the darkness would not let him go that easily. The 2 sides entered a fierce clash, resulting in ripples across time and space. The boy, who was in the centre of this event, was slowly broken into 2 and slipped into one of the cracks.
One half of the boy fell for what seemed like an eternity through the endless void. He was enveloped by a crimson glow which was the only thing keeping him from disintegrating into a velvet mess. The light rushed him through the void. Backwards? Forwards? Up? Down? He could not tell. He was on the thin thread between life and death, truly belonging in neither of them. His life flashed before his eyes again. And again. And again. The cycle continued for who knows how long.
This was until another blue light shot towards it.
"Finally" the blue light thought triumphantly "I have found you"
It rapidly began to swallow the boy, aiming to become whole once again, but before he could fully absorb his other half, they found the end of the void.

From his previous world, the blue boy remembered a saying.
'Fortune favours the prepared'
Then why? Why did this happen? The worst possible route. He prepared, right? He prepared everyday, waiting for this day. Yet why? The one day where everything would come together.
"I wonder where I'll end up this time…"
——————————————————————————
In an unknown world, in an unknown land, in an unknown village, in an unknown home, a young boy, no older then 6, woke up.
He was instantly blinded by the bright light which overtook his senses. He felt a powerful rumble vibrate from his stomach as he struggled to get up.
"Where am I?" were the first thoughts that entered his mind. Almost instantly after that, his memory was flooded with 6 years worth of information. That may not seem like much, but imagine everything you have done in the past 6 years. That is 189341712000 milliseconds. Now, imagine being forced to relive all those moments, when in the outside world only 5 seconds have passed. Not only that, scraps of memories, completely out of place, were sent flying into his brain leading to him into further disarray.
After all that info was shoved into his mind, he dizzily flopped off his white bed onto the brown wood floor.
"I..i.i…i…w..wh..h..ho.." he stumbled for words as he tried to understand the situation he was in. If the random memories were indeed from a past life, does it mean I have reincarnated? The boy never really believed in reincarnation or even a God, from what he could infer from the fragmented memories.
He inwardly sighed as he racked his brain for more 'past memories' and looked towards a mirror in his room. As he gazed upon his chubby face, memories from the void started to resurface. It became clear to him. This was his new life. He squeezed his head as he collapsed and let out a high pitched scream.
"Yu!!?!" A woman yelled from across the house before she ran towards the location of the scream "Are you alright!"
She ran towards the location of the scream to find her only son clutching his head curled up on the floor. She quickly got him up and placed him on the bed.
"Did you hit your head" she asked him to which Yu decided to lie and say yes. After all, how could he say that he wasn't actually her son. However, he still felt residues of affection which seemed to be from the previous Yu Kori. After consoling her son, she left his side to cook his favourite dish, Ramen.
"Thankfully it's still the same as before" he thought, trying to console himself. It didn't work.
Yu looked up at the white ceiling as he tried to make sense of his circumstances. He turned his gaze towards a window, only to witness an adult man and a teenage boy, each with equivalent power and bloodlust. While fighting, he noticed what immediately appeared to be.. gang signs? Are they communicating while battling? A sharp pain in his head attacked him, a memory from you. They were.. Shinobi hands signs..
Wait. Hand signs? This was.. Naruto?! That one carto- Anime his friend pressured him into watching. And then proceeded to spoil most the plot.
"Goddamit" he stressed as beat himself up for not being a Weeb. Although he watched the series, he didn't get too invested into it. After all, he already knew most the show.
He stared for a while until his mother called him for food. His stomach dragged him towards the beautiful bowl which lay atop an old table. There were only 2 chairs but the table had enough room for 4. They both delved into their bowls of Ramen, with Yu finishing as fast as the flash and proceeding to demolish his seconds.
"Thankfully it's still the same as before" he thought, trying to console himself. It didn't work.
Now he knew where he was, in the world of Naruto, it became crystal clear that his theory was correct.
He was Reborn.
[A/N: For those who are confused, he regained all his current life memories but only gained some of his past life memories]
