Zhan was about to speak when Killian motioned for quiet. He pointed to a darkened recess where a young woman was trying desperately to make herself small enough to fit. Her task was made that much more difficult by the ornate headdress and elaborate gown she was wearing.
Daimon and Zhan turned to see what Killian had noticed.
"Rowena!" they both exclaimed in surprise.
"SSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Rowena scolded looking quite angry at having been discovered.
Daimon held his hand out to Rowena and helped her stand. It was obvious she had been trying to hide, but everyone graciously pretended otherwise. She reluctantly took it and stood up smoothing her hair and adjusting the ornaments that adorned it.
"What are you doing?" Daimon asked.
"Hiding." She snapped while smoothing the wrinkles in her gown. "Isn't it obvious?"
Daimon laughed. "Tired of your lessons already?"
"I already know how to sit, stand, and eat." She grumbled. "I've been doing it all by myself for a few years now."
