In a last desperate attempt to learn something of importance, Tamlin feigned unconsciousness. It served to slow his heart rate and metabolism considerably which, in turn, slowed the progress of the poison. But it was only postponing the inevitable. And he knew it.
He had no idea what manner of creature had captured him nor why it had done so. It seemed to be about the fact that he had Fae blood. So, in the end he'd gleaned some information from his captors, but it made little sense to him.
Although in his travels he had heard rumors about humanoid creatures with strange appearances and abilities being seen throughout the kingdoms of the Empire. Knowing his captors were gone, he made an attempt to write down what he'd learned. He could only hope that a loyal Shadow Agent would find it. They would be the only ones who could decipher the code he'd used.
