One of the advantages or disadvantages of being the XO was knowing the training schedule for the academy ahead of time unlike the other students, and for once Zeph was actually looking forward to the morning lecture for once.
For one it was not being taught by an instructor, an instead being taught by Captain Nora Halt, while the subject was on emergency response protocols and joint response chain of command.
Zeph was the first one in the main training room and stood by the stage instead of taking his seat while he waited for Captain Halt and the recruits to arrive.

"Good morning Instructor. Coffee?"
"Uha, morning. Who made it?"
"Me. You think that I would give you a cup I would not drink myself, Captain? The pot is hidden behind the podium. You will find a nice tumbler cup like mine with your name on it next to it."
