In the deep night sky where the shiny moon was outlining the boundries of clouds. The clouds making vague shadows on the surface. A meteor like projectile was going it's way, penetrating the cotton like dark clouds.
The dark line of smoke, travelling at enormous speed. Spanning miles in seconds. It was like a zap that travelled in the sky and when you turned your head up only a afterimage was all that you find.
The smoke or rather the one inside that smoke had a emotionless face. But even in this darkness his red eye shined as if it had a glow of it's own.
Soon the landscape beneath changed. Now it was some village, abandoned it seems as the houses were dusty, long grass in unmaintained lawns and had big heavy locks on the gates. There were houses of all sizes here, ranging from a single floor 2 bed room house to a house with a personal lake. It must have been a very wealthy village in it's prime. But now village looked like it came out of a 90's horror movie. The architecture of houses was old fashioned, not in use for more than 2 decades. There were still some old telephone lines on the poles here and there which were also bent dur to the effect of time and nature.
Lucious landed in front of a small shabby house, probably the one in the poorest condition in the village. It had a simple front lawn, the grass tall enough for a bear to hide. There was a broken doorbell on side of the wooden door. There were also some windows, however they were not transparent anymore as the dust accumulating on them had long ago covered the whole glass. The only noticabe thing about this house was that it did not have a lock on its gate.
Lucious however did not enter th building,he went to the back of the house instead.
The condition of the back lawn was also the game as the front. There was sound of insects in the dark law.
Standing behind the tall grass in the backyard of this house was a small broomshack. Lucious walked up to it. Facing the door to the shack, he took out his phone, pressed the power button and checked the time.
It was 10:45, it seems he still has some time. He would have to make this trip worth it. He cannot come here again or William might have some Suspisions, Ashley will also be returning tomorrow so he would not have much time anyways.
He opened the door, there were your regular lawn maintenance equipments there all covered in a thick layer of dust that had been setting up on them for a long time now. Lucious ingnoring all those thngs switched on the 100 watt bulb, the whole shack bathed in yellow light How the electricity was still there was a mystery as most of the electric poles were non functional.
The poor condition of the wooden shack now more visible. With the light however came a click sound. It was very low sound, it there was not dead silence like there was now then the sound would have not been heard.
Lucious without switching off the bulb exited the shack and closed the shabby door to it. Now he once again went to the front of the house.
Opening the main gate he entered the house.The inside of the house would have have been perfect for shooting of a horror movie.Just at the entrance were the stairs, at the side was another little corridoor, probably to the drawing room of the kitchen. As Lucious put his first step inside he was greeted by creaking sound of the wooden floor, he however did not mind it. Walking up to the side of the stairs, he stooped. There was a cupboard under the stairs, it was large enough to fit a grown adult inside.
He opened the cupboard.
The inside of this cupboard were pretty normal, there were some regular household things that filled all the most of the space inside.
It could be described as the cupboard showed in harry Potter series apart from the fact that there a thick layer of dust and spiderwebs covering it, like most of the things in this Village.
There was also an bulb hanging from the wooden ceiling of the cupboard. It was exactly identical to the one that was in the broomshack in the backyard. Lucious turned the switch on. The buld was lit once agin and a click sound came. This time however with click sound came a rumbling sound and slight vibration from the floor.
The part of floor of the cupboard slid open, previously it was so perfectly merged with the floor that no one could tell that there could be something like this here. A set of stairs going down were revealed. There was pitch black darkness on the stairs. Even the light from the buld was unable to lit the stairs concluding that the stairs went quite deep.
Lucious started to descend the stairs.
Reaching at the end of the stairs was just a door, it was not a door like the once that were present in the whole village. This one was made of carbonated and compressed solid steel, at least 3 inches thick. Even a strenght type super would be unable to leave a dent on it. It was not something that a normal person should be capable of making. Mostly these types of doors were used in the CCD.
Lucious raised his left hand a little, about to knock on the door when sound of footsteps was heard from other side of the door. The footsteps were quick as if someone was running to the door. Soon the door slid open and figure of a 5'7 slightly plump man was revealed on the other side, it was breathing heavily, it seems that it instead had come in a hurry to open the door. The face of the figure however was hidden by the darkness that covered the whole area.
Lucious opened his mouth, his deep red eye gazing at the man in don't of him as if he could see him perfectly in this darkness.
