2054
*UN secret laboratory.
"We have finally developed a substance that can finally help mankind evolve. We've been stalling for so long and we couldn't do anything," the bearded man in the white coat said, looking at the vial containing the green liquid.
The liquid was highly unstable, perpetually splashing and felt as if it was about to explode, which it never would.
A young looking man of 35 walked into the room. There was a faint spark in his eyes, a spark of excitement.
Seeing the already finished substance, his hands trembled
"Wait, General Director, this is a very unstable substance, a slight shake can ruin everything!"-said the bearded scientist carefully took the flask with the drug from the hands of General Director, while placing it in a prearranged safe, - "until we clone THIS, we must maintain the utmost caution. It cost unimaginable resources and money to develop, in the current situation we could not have developed it without the help of THEM."
" I....understand, I was just flustered. I hope it's resolved now."
Having said that, the sounds of explosions were heard over the lab. The doctor and the CEO's faces went dramatically pale.
"This is what we were afraid of, get the safe and get out before we are swamped. All our research should be saved, there's a cloning machine in the nearest town," the CEO sullenly snorted and began to nudge the doctor.
"Y-yes, okay, we'll be right there," the doctor mumbled confusedly and with fear in his voice at the same time.
Running up the stairs still suspiciously clear, the doctor saw a strange figure hiding in the shadows, blinking his eyes, it disappeared
"I must be imagining things," the doctor thought uncertainly.
And so, coming out of the bunker-laboratory, they did not see a completely demolished building, but only a huge pile of people in black.
"Well, here we are, 'boss,'" snorted the man in the middle of the gang.
"That explosion sound was just a decoy for you to come out," said the man behind him gloatingly.
"I've always wanted to be part of a scene with villains," thought one of the group, making a wry grin.
"Enough of pouring piles of money into this useless project that brings absolutely nothing but trouble," said the same man in the middle of the crowd, "now we decide how to decide the fate of the organization.
Gritting his teeth, the CEO realized that now was the "end.
You might have thought that a miracle had happened and they were saved, but no. They were shot and they didn't even look at the safe.
Now the main UN building is left abandoned.
