Chapter 11 - Chapter 10. The Discovery.

Helio, who left early in the afternoon, did not return for quite a while. I didn't mind and continued with the rest of my day since I had nothing to do but as the hours passed I grew worried. "Is he always returning late?" I asked Edith as I waited outside at around 11:32pm.

"You know we don't have to do this, we don't usually wait for the master to return because he doesn't return till early the next morning. Even I was surprised when Maria decided to help the master, I mean if she's looking to grab his attention then she better quit I mean everyone knows he's gay." Edith laughs. I stare at Edith, shocked and speechless that I could hardly move. This is new. Edith looked at me and her smile dropped. "Oh that's right, you didn't know."

I shake my head without uttering a word, I guess it's not surprising, thinking about it, that explains a lot I mean the room seemed suspicious so hearing this only confirms my suspicions but damn, that was quite a blow, who would have guess that Helio the most attractive guy in the country that girls could kill for was in fact, gay. "Is there a story behind it or did it just happen?"

Edith kept fondling her fingers, she looked left and right, a feeling of anxiousness was written all over her face, I don't think it's something simple to keep her this nervous. "I'm not sure, but I heard that there's a story behind it, and a very depressing one too but only the older staff knows of it and they were replaced a long time ago and they left so suddenly." She said. Oh so there's a back story. "But Rebecca, I once heard…" She pulled me by the hand and I came closer, and then she whispered in my ear, "I heard Helio was a twin."

My eyes widen, a twin???

The history of the Belios dates back to before I was born, if I'm right Helio should be at least four years older than I am yet he looks younger than his age. Was there a twin the public wasn't aware, how could the rich and famous family have a child that the media wasn't aware of, or was I maybe too young to have known then, I mean if he was around ten then I should had been either four or five, a but too young to watch the news so maybe something happened to her before then. "Really was it a boy or a girl?" I ask.

"No one knows, anyway I think I've said enough, I'll be going inside now. Goodnight." I could sense the worry from Edith's voice, something doesn't add up and I don't think it'll be good to try to dig it up so I'll just let it be.

Alone, I stand outside waiting for Helio and when I got tired of standing outside for long I decided to wait inside for him. It's pretty late but there's still no sign of him, and so I debate on whether or not to go to bed.

He can find his way to his room right? I doubt it, after all that happened. Let's just wait one more hour.

A car drives in as I wait and I stand up from the staircase where I sat, hurrying to greet Helio at the door. I spotted Nelson from afar walking towards the mansion in a staggering form and knew at once that he was drunk.

Oof!!!

Helio stumbled along the way falling to his face and standing up before continuing once again until he reached the door. "Good evening Sir." I greeted him but as if I was invisible he walked inside without even batting an eye. There was no one around to help him when he fell, knowing Helio who gives off a powerful aura he should have had bodyguards and escorts surrounding him but just like how no one was there to help him, the maids also go to bed without watching him return, something isn't right.

Unlike last time Helio climbed the stairs and got to his room himself but I knew it still wasn't safe to let him be by himself and follow him inside.

I still couldn't get use to the room being pink and everything, it looked like something a young girl would sleep in and not even an older girl, based on what I was told, I wonder if he was the original owner of this room, I mean it could be otherwise, could it be that his twin was a girl, but even if it was then why was Helio in her room instead.

Helio, who seemed less drunk than before, fell into his bed without changing. I'm stuck once again because I knew I couldn't leave him this way. Neither can I help him, otherwise he might begin to suspect who really did help him two days ago. Heavens.

Flashbacks from when I was young pour in, I remember how many times my mother would help my father change when he came back late, between the both of them I most times wished the person who died back then wasn't my mother because he wasn't much of a help besides I still need to get some info from him and I can only do that if I'm close. My parents would often argue about my father's work when I was young and that's more of the reason why I think something's wrong about dad's job being just borrowing money. I needed to know about what the information contained and if he really did steal a business idea I also need to start planning how to raise enough money to repay because I couldn't stay locked up here forever.

"Oh geez." I squat next to his bed and untie his dark quality leather shoelaces, I unbuckle his wrist watch and gently take off his jacket. Helio who was long gone in his sleep did not notice a thing and so after taking off these three things, I left the room and went to bed myself.
