I regret no being with my phone till this day, the priceless looks on their faces when they find themselves cornered by me with no chance of escape. "Come on, I'm waiting for your answer." I urge them but still, they stare at me with a stiff expression.
One of them stepped forward. "We came to look for you." She said with her arms crossed and with unbelievable boldness. "Why are you coming from the main house?" She says, Although we stood afar, she kept acting like she was trying to shove her face into mine. I think she was trying to stop me from seeing what was behind, a foolish move I must admit.
"I went to fetch something to eat, I've been busy trying to redecorate the abandoned room which you're ironically trying to steal from, I didn't arrange it for you to steal you know." She steps back shocked immediately. I think her name was Maria or whatever, she's pretty but too bad it's useless with an attitude like that.
I think I'm done playing cat and mouse. I step forward, and they take a step back. It was incredibly hilarious to see them panic. "Just what are you trying to prove, don't do anything foolish, we've outnumbered you so we can beat you up right now." Maria says in a shaky voice.
"Before you do that, I'll make sure to make more noise that'll wake everyone up and have the dogs chase you, so if you truly don't want any trouble I suggest you scarm." Maria and her gang but her tongue and drops the cabinet on the floor right outside the door. "Let's not do that, why don't you return everything you've stolen back to its place or I'll break another glass this time." I sat on my shelf turned bed and watched them struggle to put back the things they stole. I can understand why they did it. These are some really expensive properties. I'm sure I can make more than enough money to settle one-quarter of the debt we owe, but sadly that'll only leave me in more debt.
"Tsk." The ladies sighed as they stormed out in anger, I waved goodbye to them but they didn't bother to respond. Well what an exhausting day.

"Cca….Becca….. Rebecca….."
I felt a violent shake on my body.
What, what, what can I do to get a decent shut eye in this place.
"Rebecca!!!" I shone my eyes, intending to yell but I find Edith staring at me with a blank expression. "You're scary." She says to me.
"Only when I don't get enough sleep." I say with a smile.
"How's your wound?" She asks. I groan as I rub my sleepy eyes, I want to go back to bed but I can't, I just hope this isn't the reason why she woke me up so early in the morning.
"It stings, but just a little." I say, flashing the swollen finger at her face. Edith moves back with a shrug on her face as if she had seen something disgusting.
"You need medication but first come with me." She pulls me out of bed with force and then drags me away, rushing me to get to the staff quarters and have my bath. I still wanted to sleep some more, I could hardly see a thing.
"What…..yawn….what time is it?" I ask as I get changed.
"Six in the morning." Six. Well I'll be damned, I'm going back to bed. "The master has assembled all the maids in the mansion for an important reason, he seems to have a bit of an off mood so we don't really know what's pissing him off." Off mood, pissed off, Helio!

My eyes shone like someone who had just seen candy for the first time, I'm screwed, does he remember me from last night. 'what are you gonna do Rebecca, see, I told you not to help him but did you listen, no… I'm dead, so dead, I even got to see him in that pink room, oh no, I've known too much what am I gonna do?' I panicked on the inside as I tried to calm down but all was not well.
Hmm. If he was angry about last night, why call everyone. Breathe Becca, let's just go there and see.
Nope, I should have remained in my room.
Hello sits at the head of the dining table, while we the maids form a line on both sides. She looked at us with menace or so, he rested his elbow on the table and locked his fingers together to support his chin, but even in that angry look. Damn he looked beautiful, should I say sexy. "Which one of you went into my room last night?"
"Ugh." Overwhelmed with fear, I had no idea when I choked on my own spit. I wanted to cough but that'll make me a lot more obvious, hold it in Becca.
"I'll rephrase that question, who was it, that helped me into my room last night." My eyes had gone red from holding my cough and I had begun to cry tears of pain. No one stepped forward because it was in fact me who did it but, please Mr Helio got over it already, no one wants to admit it. "Who was the maid on duty this week?"
"I...I… am sir." Wait a minute, Maria again, how come she's everywhere? "Sir you see, last night…" Oh shit, she must have suspected something, I mean she saw me coming from the main house, please don't say anything, well even if she did, I wouldn't admit it.
'"Thank you for helping me and good job."
I stood frozen, my brain cells weren't active anymore. "What?!"
Oops. I said that out loud. "Shh. Rebecca." Edith whispered as she peed me by the hem of my dress. Did he just say good job. So was it a good thing.
Helios dips his hand into his pocket. "What's your name, I should give you a bonus for your hard work." Did he say bonus, that means money right? Damn, I should have just admitted it. My money. "You're all dismissed except her."
As I hold back my tears and drag my legs to leave, I felt something awkward and stopped, I feel a shiver down my spine.
Hmm. What was that?
It felt like I was being stared at just now.
"Becca." Edith called me.
"Oh yes. I'm coming." I turn around and follow her, to return to my post. But, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something had just happened that would affect my life.
