Knock knock!
I could tell who was at my door without even needing to see her face. I wanted her so much that I memorised even the sound of her knocking at my door. "Who is it?" I asked, intentionally playing dumb.
"It's Rebecca sir. I've come to hand over the keys to my room. Since I would not be using it anymore then it is uncalled for, if you don't open then I will simply hand it over to the head maid and leave." It was silent, I had no answer and nothing to say to her because I was to be blamed. "I'll be leaving now."
"Wait." I answered, rushing towards the door to see her, she stood with a stiff expression, it was more distant from when we first met, like glass, my heart shattered into a million pieces. I stretched forth my hand and open it, "The key." I told her. I felt her warm smooth hand touch mine as she handed over the key, her hands slipped out of mine gently, smoothly. I wanted to grab her hands but I couldn't.
