It's been a day since Helio and my conversation, and I had resumed work. Edith, had cornered me and brought me outside on a hot sunny day and after standing outside and listening to Edith's suggestion, I finally gave my opinion. "An art contest?! I don't think so." I laughed trying to push my way forward, but Edith held me back, pulling me by the arm to the same spot I had just left, seriously though what is with everyone and pulling my arm.
"Sure you can. I see what you've done with your room and a few of your paintings from your photo gallery, you can do it Becca, because you have talent." Edith pressured me. Now holding my hands in hers and staring at me with cute sparkly eyes.
I slip both hands out and pat her head. "That's not it Edith. Hel- I mean sir would never let me. Don't forget what happened last time, I'm prohibited from remembering." I walk away and sigh. 'Besides I made him a promise yesterday.' I murmur to myself.
