Loco and his new team of siblings walked up to the wood supports that lead into the dungeon they were about to enter, like it was an old mine or quarry. Loco looked back at them one last time and started the explanation to them,"Ok, we have walked the path and other than a few straggling monsters, we didn't encounter anything significant enough for me to properly assess your individual characteristics. I want you all to explain what your class is, what insights you have into your class, and what skills you know."
All three siblings nodded their heads in recognition and Loco continued,"I will start as a baseline. My class is called blood mage, it allows me to manipulate my own blood or a monster's blood with which I am fighting to make projectiles, what I refer to as blood weapons are possible with my blood techniques, and I have 3 skills, they are blood scythe, blood bullet, and restitution. The former 2 are just different applications of my blood control and the latter is a blood recovery spell that I can cast up to 6 times a day. Now that I have explained my class, I will give everyone a chance to speak about how to improve my abilities, give me fresh Ideas!"
The three siblings looked at each other in a little bit of confusion but unlike usual strategos was the first to speak, saying,"Reverse a monster's blood flow?"
Loco smiled and replied,"Perfect! I never thought of that! Anybody else?" However no one else could think of something for him so he continued on and said,"Now that we have brainstormed my abilities let us do the same with everyone. Germain please describe yourself"
Germain cleared his throat and said,"My class is Barrier Guardian. This class allows me to summon a shield at will, using only the warrior energy contained within my body. However the energy is what I would describe as 'slippery' when it comes to maintaining a grip on control. I have only 2 skills at the moment, and they are shield bash and rush. Any ideas?"
Loco thought about it for a moment and said,"Can you call it out right now?" To which Germaine obliged him, pulling out of seemingly nowhere a translucent shield about the right size for a typical heavy knight. Loco pondered for a moment and then asked,"Wait, it responds to your will right?"
Germaine nods to that and Loco then says,"Then does it only stay in that shape?"
Germaine thought to himself for a moment and the quietly said to himself,"I never even thought about the shape… but no.." and he quickly looked at Loco with frightened but excited eyes and instantly after he looked back to his see through shield, it start to become more diamond shape in front of all their eyes. His giant square shield was now about half the size and in the form of a diamond!
That was when Germaine noticeably froze in place, and said,"Loco… the system just gave me a message.. It says 'You have gained knowledge on the secrets of your class"
Loco's eyes widened a little in surprise and he chuckled a little. He retorted to the baffled Germain,"Well I guess this exercise does have its merits! Even when he is not here, Drake still manages to teach me something! Hahaha!"
After seeing her brother come under such an exaggerated change, Queenbee quickly stepped up and said," My class is Grand Healer. I can only gain exp by healing a proportional amount of damage for a player, usually tanks or vitality types. I cannot gain any experience from normal monsters, however my class has a weird quirk where dark magic is often just as pissed off to be around me as I am to them. I only have 1 skill and that healer's shield, which, as long as I am healing someone, cannot be destroyed unless the player is the same rank. However, once I drop the healing the shield also disappears. Give me some good ideas!"
Strategos replied before Loco this time and said,"Repels dark magic, possible inclination that sister has gained some form of holy or divine power."
Queenbee was caught off guard by that, but before she could say anything Loco interrupted his own take, saying,"I agree with that, but for curiosity's sake, could you show me how you perform a heal?"
Queenbee smiled a smug smile and said,"Fine, I will grace you with some real power" and she started to focus on gathering her magic, she looked at a tree in the distance that had a broken limb and said quietly,"Heal.." Despite seeming to not do anything at first, the other three clearly witnessed the broken tree limb start to regrow.
Loco whistled and said,"Damn, that tree is 30 feet away, normal healers definity can't do it like that." He walked over to a tree that was about 50 feet away, punching and ultimately destroying the poor tree. He called back to Queenbee who was still standing at the back from the start of the dungeon. "Queenbee! Focus once more, however this time, perform a chant to this world's god of vitality and life, Goeslin!"
Queenbee was a little weirded out that she would have to honor a fake god but wanting to improve she nonetheless came up with a basic chant. She focused on the tree 50 meters away from her, and slowly started to chant, saying,"God in the heavenly realm, please help the suffering of your creations." As she spoke, the duo still standing next to her noticed a large circle with runes and crazy lines appeared beneath her feet, and its majestic golden hue made them both feel warm and comfortable. Loco watched on as she continued chanting,"Bestow upon me the energy to heal this broken soul to his peak! Heal!"
Suddenly the air around her started to glow a golden color and almost instantaneously, the tree grew back to its original glory and from what loco could tell, even restored it back to its prime. However what was more curious to Loco was that he swore he could feel a warm presence coming from the tree, however the feeling quickly stopped, as if it never was there. Loco walked back over to Queenbee and said to her,"That was perfect, you'll have to see if you can refine the process, possibly see if there are certain words that Goeslin likes more than others."
Queenbee had not said anything since the healing spell had gone off and when Loco walked over she quickly gave him a hug. Loco, not knowing how to react, jerked a bit and said,"What? What's wrong?!"
Queenbee smiled up at him and said," That's 2/2 so far my leader! Ahem! I just got two messages for that new chanting spell, 'You have received help from the goddess of life!' and 'You have gained knowledge on the secrets of your class'!"
Loco smiled in happiness once more and said,"Alright then, let's keep this part rolling then! Strategos! Come forward and explain yourself!"
Strategos did as she was told obediently and said to Loco,"Class designation: Militant Oracle. Class purpose is extremely hidden, information is vague. 2 skills in the arsenal so far, the first, called instinct, warns me of incoming danger, and the second, hawk eyes, allows me to see far and wide. Please advise!"
Loco's smile partially disappeared as he and the others started to think. Then Loco thought he might as well ask her,"Quick question, what happens when you activate the class? Surely you can do that right?"
Strategos nodded her head in confirmation and said to him,"Yes, I can activate the class through my will, however the class will just inform me 'Improper setting' so I haven't been able to use it, relying on my bow skills for levels.
Loco pondered this for a moment before realizing something, and so he asked her,"Have you ever tried to actually activate it before a battle, or during a battle?"
She said,"No. Multiple tries before battles, however during a fight, distraction gets you killed. Never tried activating it in battle." She looked a little puzzled with his line of questioning and added,"Do you think this is the reason?"
Loco smiled and said,"I have a hunch that your class is more important in the middle of a battle rather than before or after. I have a theory in my head, but the only way to prove it is to start the dungeon. So that is what we will do, while Germaine and Queenbee hold off the first ones to encounter us, I will help you get a better grip on your power." He faced the dungeon once more and said to his new Vice-Captains, "Let's go!"
To which he received a firm and resolute,"Yes, Leader!"
