Daniel's pov
The music was still on in his house, indicating the party is still going on full swing.
I must have forgotten all about his girlfriend until I came back here.
Have he found her already?
Is he having the time of his life with her now?
Is she attending our school?
This questions and more kept on coming even as I climbed up the stairs.
The more I think of him being with his girlfriend, the more I feel the pain in my chest.
The thing that hurts me most isn't the idea of him being with another girl, it's the hurtful words he said to me.
Forgetting those hurtful words won't be easy.
As I made to walk past his door, the door opened, and he stepped out.
Talk more of the devil.
"Daniel," he calls me, a smile on his face.
I give him a good once over before I continued on with my walk upstairs.
