"Now where did I put this thing??!!" asked Lulu in annoyance as she scattered Benjamin's living room and the cushions on his couch as she seemed to be searching for something.
"*Ugh* This is so annoying where could it be?? It was right here yesterday, I remember seeing it here!" she groaned as she scattered the cushions even more than before.
"This is unbelievable, did this thing just develop legs and run away??" she asked in frustration as she frowned.
"Hello." said Benjamin as he walked into the apartment already certain of the fact that Lulu was in his house yet again.
At this point it did not surprise him anymore. It was even like she practically lived here. She was here every other day and he was used to it. In fact he would be more surprised if she wasn't here.
"Hello." Lulu replied in a less than friendly tone as she continued to scatter the living room.
"What the heck are you doing?" asked Benjamin in confusion as he put the several packages that he got on his doorstep on the kitchen countertop.
"I am looking for something!" she replied angrily.
"What exactly are you looking for that causes you to scatter my entire living room?" asked Benjamin in annoyance as he sighed, see this was why he did not like it when Lulu was in his house when he was out. it gave room to things like this happening and she claimed that she would clean up her mess but she rarely did.
"My earring, the pure gold ones that I got for my birthday, I was wearing them yesterday which was a mistake and then I took them off over here and I guess that I left them over here since I couldn't find them in the morning and I can't find them over here either." said complained.
"Are they heart shaped?" asked Benjamin as Lulu nodded.
"Well they are right here, I saw them yesterday and kept them in here for you." said Benjamin as he walked to the drawer and brought out her earrings.
"Oh thank you Ben!! Phew, I thought that I actually lost them this time." said Lulu in relief as Benjamin handed her earrings to her.
"You're welcome and you really have to stop losing them, next time you won't be so lucky that I saw them first." he replied.
"Yes, yes, got it, thank you." said Lulu as she smiled at him.
"Now would you please arrange my living room? You messed it up and you know that I don't like messy things or places... or people." he said as he subtly added that last part which Lulu was not quick to notice, or maybe she did but ignored it.
"Yes, yes, okay I will arrange it right now, don't worry." said Lulu as she immediately carried all the cushions that she had thrown on the floor as she arranged them.
"Thank you." he replied as he walked to the kitchen to get some leftovers from the fridge.
He ended up settling on a cold leftover takeout burrito that he put into the microwave as he moved to check the packages he found on his doorstep.
"What are you microwaving?" asked Lulu from the living room as she tidied up.
"A leftover burrito." he replied casually.
"Do you have one for me?" she asked.
"No." he replied.
"Aww why not?" asked Lulu.
"You really should start eating in your brother's house before you come over here Louise." replied Benjamin as he found a package that was addressed to Lulu.
"Hey don't say that, you make it sound like every time I come here it's to eat you out of house and home." she replied as he walked to the living room.
"You say it like that's not what you do." he replied as she glared at him.
"I don't even need your food anyway, even though friends share food all the time and if you were to come over often I would certainly make sure you eat well." she replied.
"Mhmm right, anyway there's a package here for you, why it showed up on my doorstep I do not know." he said as he handed her the package.
"Thank you." she replied as she instantly opened it and squealed in delight.
"What is it?" asked Benjamin.
"It's my dress for the party it finally arrived and it looks just gorgeous! Even more gorgeous than it did online." replied Lulu in excitement as she jumped up and down.
"Let me see." said Benjamin in curiosity, he wondered if Lulu was just overexagerrating.
"No, no you can't see, you're not allowed to see, no one is. You will see it when I wear it next week." she replied with a smug smile as she hid the box from him and he just scoffed.
"Right, there's no point for you to keep it a surprise, I saw you when you ordered it online, I already know what it looks like." said Benjamin.
"That may be true, but you won't see it on me till next week Saturday." said Lulu with a smile.
"Whatever you say." he replied.
"Yes, anyway, you're going to the party as well, you don't have a choice, you were my personal assistant in all this so get a really nice suit, a new one, one that matches the theme." said Lulu.
"And don't say that you have several suits, they are all black and don't go with the theme at all so get a new suit that's a brighter colour." said Lulu with a sweet smile.
"Oh and you don't have a choice, you're going." said Lulu happily with no room for refusal as Benjamin sighed.
"Why do you have to be so controlling?" he asked.
"I'm not, I know how you can be so I won't let you get your way and deprive yourself of having some well deserved fun." she replied as he just scoffed and walked to the kitchen.
"Get me something as well." she said as he ignored her.
"I know you're ignoring me Benjamin, I guess that I won't cook dinner tonight like I intended." she replied.
"I don't care, you can't even cook." he replied.
"I'm going to pretend like I didn't hear that for your own sake." said Lulu as she sat down on the couch and brought out her phone and dialed a number.
"Hello Nine." said Lulu as she smiled when her call was answered.
"Hi Lulu, what is the matter?" asked Nine.
"Nothing is the matter I just called to say hi, and to also tell you that I just got my dress delivered today and just in time for the party." said Lulu happily.
"That's nice, have you tried it on yet?" he asked.
"No, I won't, but I'm sure it fits." she said.
"Alright, that's nice." he said as he smiled.
"Yes, so are you out?" asked Lulu.
"I'm at the mall yes, why do you ask?" asked Nine as he could sense a request coming.
"Oh dear, lovely, older brother of mine I need a teeny, tiny favour from you." she said as her voice sounded very soft and sweet.
"Of course you do, what is it?" asked Nine with a sigh as he already knew that when Lulu called him it was one of two things, either she was in trouble or she needed a favour.
"I need this special coral pink lipstick, mine is all out and since you're already at the mall I was hoping that you would please go buy it for me." said Lulu as she asked nicely.
"Seriously Lulu, this is the second time you're asking me to buy lipstick, I have nothing against getting you stuff that you need, but not lipstick, i got some weird stares last time and I would rather not repeat it again." said Nine as Lulu pleaded.
"Oh but pleaseee, pleaseee, please do it for me Nine, I'm already at home and going out just to buy lipstick seems unreasonable, please buy it for me, I need it for the party." said Lulu as she pleaded with him and Nine sighed.
"Besides, you need a new suit for the party as well, why don't you use the opportunity to get something for yourself as well?" asked Lulu.
"Louise, I love you really, but you have to stop sending me on errands, especially ones that make me feel uncomfortable." said Nine.
"I know, I know, and I won't do it again, but you're the only one I can trust with this very, very important thing so please go, pleaseee." she begged him as he sighed.
"Alright fine." he said as he reluctantly agreed.
"Yayyy, thanks Nine, you're the best, I'll send you the money now." she said as she smiled.
"This is the last time." he said.
"Yes, yes." she replied happily. She knew that she could always count on him to help her always.
