Chapter 416 - Would show

Romanoff cursed under his breath; he was currently raining curses on whoever it was that paired him up on this collection mission with this idiot young boy who had no respect at all for his elders.

It was clear that he was inexperienced with these kind of dealings, not only did he arrive while the customs were still here, which could have made them get caught, but he also was not willing enough to be patient and wait.

Romanoff had been in this game for a long time, and he trusted his gut instinct, if he felt that there was something off in the area, then he was definitely right, something just did not sit well with him here, and he was not one to overlook such uneasiness.

But due to him being a babysitter for this newcomer, he had to follow him in and ensure that he didn't try anything funny like trying to steal the firearms to sell for himself.

If that happened, Romanoff would be more than happy to correct him accordingly.

Romanoff was about to enter into the ship when he felt something way off and he paused, turned around and looked at his surroundings.

It was as quiet as ever, and anyone would be conditioned to think that they were alone and no one was watching them, the cool sea breeze was blowing gently.

Romanoff furrowed his eyebrows and his attention was drawn back to the task on hand when he heard what sounding like pots and pans crashing down as he rained a curse once again, this boy would give him a headache.

Romanoff wasted no time at all as he dashed into the ship to find that idiotic, impatient boy.

"Sir we have interference" came the voice of a woman in the van with a headset on her ears as she looked at Agent Dians who stopped talking to Dom and immediately walked to where she was.

"Finally" said Agent Dians with a hint of relief as Dom and Natasha appeared in front of him.

"I told you they would show" said Dom as Agent Dians looked at the footage of the cameras that they had set up, the footage was way too dark for him to be able to see anything or make out distinct faces.

"Don't catch your chickens before the hatch" replied Dians as Natasha agreed internally, after all who was to say that the people there were not just late night workers or something, she didn't want to get her hopes up too high.

"Can we get any clearer footage, this Is too dark" said Dians as he frowned and the woman shook her head.

"I am afraid not sir, the cameras were meant to hide in plain sight, if they were any closer to the light sources they would be spotted" she replied as Dians scoffed.

"And what about audio?? Can we get some audio playing?" asked Dians as he looked at his team.

"No sir, unfortunately some sort of other signal is tampering with ours, the signals are crashing, I can't get anything" replied a man as Dians groaned in frustration, what sort of problem was this? And it was even more frustrating that their equipment was not working all of a sudden even though they had tested it in the afternoon.

"The same with the ones in the ship?" asked Dians as they all nodded.

"What sort of nonsense is this?? We have no audio? Nothing except useless, unusable footage?!" asked Dians in rage as Natasha could clearly see that he truly had some unworked anger issues.

Dians team on the other hand remained silent, as if they were used to these kinds of situations before and the best way to come out unscathed would be to remain completely silent.

"Get ready we are going in, we have to make a move before whoever is in there escapes" replied Dians as he took a calming breath, it was too early into this mission for him to be this frustrated already.

"Yes sir" replied the team.

"Good" replied Dians.

"I am coming with you" said Natasha as Dians remembered that she and Dom were still here.

"Why?" asked Dians.

"Because I want to, you may need my help if it is really who we think it is in there" said Natasha.

"Or maybe so you can tip them off" said Dians with a raised eyebrow.

"I don't like your accusation" said Dom with a frown as Dians ignored his comment and focused on Natasha.

"Well in case you forget, I gave you the tip, I have my own motive, and also I may or may not have an idea of who the agent who is supposed to receive the shipment is" said Natasha with a smile.

"And you didn't think to mention that before?" asked Dians in a skeptical tone.

"Well as the same way you don't trust me, I don't trust you" replied Natasha with a smile.

"Give me a name" he replied.

"It's one of the agents in the files I gave you, make your pick" said Dians.

"I don't have time for this useless game" said Dians.

"Give me the name" said Dians.

"I go, I give you the name" said Natasha.

"Fine, now name" said Dians.

"It should be Agent Igor, he was the one assigned to handle this specific shipment, I also gave you that information in the files, looks like you didn't go through them thoroughly" said Natasha with a smile as Dians scoffed and started to walk away.

"I am coming to" said Dom as Natasha waved him off, which didn't mean a no in his opinion so he followed after her.

"Aha found it!" declared the man as he stopped in front of a huge crate as he looked around the crate, searching for a specific set of numbers painted stealthily on it.

"And you couldn't be more loud about it" said Romanoff with a scoff.

"Oh relax Romanoff, there is no one else here except for us" said the man with a smile as he found the set of numbers, finally, it was worth it finding this huge crate after searching almost the entire ship for it.

Romanoff shook his head as he kept alert and the man searched around for something to open the crate with as he found a black crowbar laying on the ground, as if perfectly placed there for him with find.

Without a second thought he picked up the crowbar and positioned it to the top of the crate and tried to pry the top open using all his strength to which he failed.

"Who the heck closed this thing??" asked the boy as he panted and Romanoff scoffed.

"Move aside weak boy" he said as he pushed the man away repositioned the crowbar to a comfortable angle and in one swift downwards movement he pried the top of the crate off as it opened with the creaking and breaking sound of wood.

"I loosened it up for you" replied the man.

"Yes and I sucked your youth by standing next to you" replied Romanoff with a scoff as the man ignored him and walked to the crate, looked inside and started to remove the firearms.

"Cool" he said as Romanoff slapped his hand away and put on white gloves.

"I don't want your dirty hands leaving fingerprints all over the equipment" replied Romanoff as the man frowned but Romanoff ignored his face.

"Give me some light will you" said Romanoff as the man brought out his phone and switched on the torch and Romanoff leaned in and to look inside the crate when he was met with something that made the cold, indifferent look on his face falter after so long.

"What's wrong?" asked the man as he noticed Romanoff's pause and change in behaviour.

Romanoff said nothing as he remained quiet and he reached into the crate and brought out a gun that was more than familiar to him, it was his father's gun that was passed down to him.

Romanoff held the gun in his hand inspecting it, it seemed fine, nothing had been tampered with.

By now the man had realized that this was something very serious so he kept his mouth shut and just watched Romanoff.

Romanoff held his gun tightly in his left hand as he reached in once again into the crate and this time he pulled out a little note that was left beside his gun and the note read.

"I ty dumayesh', chto ty glavnyy za zadnitsu! (And you think you're in charge ass)"

"Nadeyus', vashemu pistoletu ponravilos' eto malen'koye puteshestviye. (I hope your gun enjoyed this little trip)"

"Potomu chto, konechno, ya sdelal (Because I surely did)"

Romanoff scrunched up the note in nothing but rage, he was seething ready to punch anyone and anything but he just held himself in this moment.

"Igor!" he said in rage as he rained curses heavily.
