Chapter 305 - Felicitous Memories XIII

"I am so glad that you both came to see me today, I wasn't expecting this" said Larry as he smiled as he, Dom and Natasha were outside walking with him as Natasha pushed his wheelchair.

"Of course we did Dad, I missed you" said Natasha as she smiled and Larry smiled at her.

"I hope we aren't disturbing you uncle?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"No, not at all, I am enjoying your company so much" said Larry as he smiled and Dom smiled as he was about to speak when Natasha quickly cut him off.

"Don't you dare try to start talking about soccer, and that goes for the both of you, today is supposed to be a nice, calm day, I don't want us getting into an argument about which soccer team is the best and blah, blah, am I clear?" asked Natasha as she knew where this was going, whenever these two were around each other, it was either they spoke about business, or worse soccer, and then she ended up feeling left out.

"Yes Ma'am very clear" said Dom as his lips were sealed, it was clear that Natasha was very serious about this.

"Dad, you two" said Natasha as she looked down at Larry and he looked up at her.

"Yes Tasha, I hear you" said Larry as he and Dom looked at each other and they started to laugh as Natasha scoffed, these two were very annoying when they were together.

"So Dom, how is work?" asked Larry.

"Well everything is doing well Uncle, actually I was going to send you a memo on what we have been able to do so far" said Dom.

"Alright, that is good" said Larry as in the same moment Dom's phone rang.

"Oh excuse me, I have to take this" said Dom as he smiled and he removed his phone from his pocket.

"Go ahead" said Larry as he smiled.

"I will be right back" said Dom as he answered the call and he walked away.

"So how is everything here dad?" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"Well things are good, you can say that I have many friends here who are my age" said Larry.

"Don't say that dad, you make it sound as if you are very old" said Natasha as she laughed and she sat down on a bench in the garden that they were walking in as Larry moved to sit down next to her on his wheelchair.

"But I am old darling, is it because I still have a very young face?" asked Larry as he laughed and he looked at Natasha.

"To me dad you can never be old" said Natasha as she smiled.

"My Tasha, you are sweet" said Larry as he smiled and Natasha smiled at him.

"So how are things with Dom?" asked Larry.

"Oh dad, if I had a dollar for every time someone asked me that, I wouldn't be rich, but I would have money" said Natasha as she laughed.

"Well we ask because we care" said Larry as Natasha sighed.

"Well Dad, things are good, we get along well, and nothing is weird, surprisingly, it's still like we are friends, which we are" said Natasha as she laughed.

"That's good Tasha, I was worried" said Larry.

"You don't have to worry dad, and what are you even worrying about?" asked Natasha as she smiled.

"I know that Dom promised me that he would take care of you, but I just don't want you to get hurt, there are sometimes that you cannot control your feelings" said Larry.

"Oh dad, Dom and I are adults, of course we know what we are doing, besides, I don't know what feelings you are talking about, we have no feelings for each other at all" said Natasha as she laughed.

"My dear, what you youngsters can't see, we elders can see quicker" said Larry.

"Oh dad, I don't know what you are talking about" said Natasha as she shook her head.

"My darling, do you remember when you were ten, and I was teaching you how to ride a bike?" asked Larry.

"Yes Dad, I remember that like it was yesterday, mostly because I got hurt and scratched my knee really bad when you lied that you won't let go of the bike seat, but you did" said Natasha as Larry laughed.

"Yes my Tasha, I did lie, and I had to let go, you rode the bike on your own, thinking that I was still holding on" said Larry.

"It was not until you turned around and noticed that I was gone that you crashed" said Larry as he laughed.

"Ha, ha, very funny dad" said Natasha as she laughed in sarcasm.

"You did hurt your knee pretty bad, but do you remember what I did?" asked Larry.

"Yes, you rushed to me, and I was crying, you carried me in your arms, and treated my knee, you told me that everything was okay, and that I shouldn't get scared of trying again, because falling is a part of learning" said Natasha as she hugged her father.

"You remember well my dear, but I also want you to know that no matter how old you get, or how far you go, I will always be there to treat your wounds no matter what, because you are always my little girl" said Larry as Natasha smiled at him.

"I know Dad, I know" said Natasha as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Don't ever hesitate to call me if you feel overwhelmed or you don't know what to do, I will always be here" said Larry as Natasha smiled.

"Thank you Dad" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Sorry about that Uncle, there was a mix up at the office" said Dom as he walked to where Natasha and Larry where.

"Oh that's alright, is the mix up settled now?" asked Larry.

"Everything Is fine now Uncle" said Dom as he smiled.

"Alright then" said Larry as he smiled.

"So what was going on while I was gone?" asked Dom as he sat down next to Natasha.

"Well aren't you nosy?" asked Natasha as she laughed and Dom laughed.

"I just asked Natasha" said Dom as he laughed.

"Well if you must know, I was simply telling my dad that I love him, and also that you can't steal my place, no matter how hard you try" said Natasha as she looked at Dom.

"Wow, I didn't know that you were that petty, if you were so sure that your dad loves you, you won't feel threatened by my presence" said Dom.

"Well I am not threatened by your presence, but I know what you are trying to do, I can see right though you Dom" said Natasha as she pointed at him.

"And what exactly am I trying to do Natasha?" asked Dom.

"Oh you know Dom, you know" said Natasha as Dom laughed.

"The both of you are so childish" said Larry as he laughed and he shook his head.

"Well he started it Dad" said Natasha.

"Ouch, I am offended Natasha, I started nothing" said Dom as he pretended to feel offended and Natasha stuck her tongue out at him briefly as Dom laughed and shook his head.

"Anyway, Uncle, would you like the three of us to go out for dinner tonight?" asked Dom.

"I don't see why not" said Larry as he smiled.

"What do you say Natasha?" asked Larry as both he and Dom looked at Natasha.

"I mean… I don't think it's a good…" said Natasha as she was cut off.

"Come on Natasha" said Dom as Natasha sighed.

"Fine, fine, we can go out" said Natasha as she sighed and Dom smiled.

"Finally, you agree to go out" said Dom.

"You make it sound like I don't like going out" said Natasha.

"Well Tasha, you sort of don't" said Larry as Natasha felt offended.

"Wow, just wow, how about I just stay behind and you two go out together" said Natasha.

"Relax silly, we were just joking" said Dom as he and Larry laughed and Natasha shook her head.

A few days later.

Natasha sighed deeply as she was tired, she was trying to study but she felt like she had information overload, and still yet, she could not stop studying at all, she was only on the first chapter of this book, it was annoying, but she had to keep on going.

"Natasha" called Dom as he walked into his home office where Natasha was studying as she was so busy trying to assimilate what she was reading.

"Natasha" called Dom once again as he walked to his desk where Natasha was sitting and he smiled helplessly, she could be so serious and focused when she needed to be, she looked cute with that seriously confused expression on her face.

"Natty" said Dom as he called her once again and he lightly tapped her on her shoulder as she flinched and she looked up at him in surprise.

"Dom, good lord, you scared me" said Natasha as she looked at him and she sighed.

"When did you walk in?" asked Natasha.

"A few moments ago, I was calling you, but you didn't reply" said Dom.

"Oh I'm sorry about that" said Natasha as she sighed.

"What's wrong? You look stressed" said Dom.

"That's because I am stressed, I have to study this entire chapter on microeconomics, and it's so theoretical, and I can't skip over It because first thing on Tuesday I have a class with the Professor, and he has a habit of calling out students to explain different concepts of microeconomics" said Natasha as she sighed.

"Wait, do you mean Professor Galvinstien?" asked Dom as Natasha nodded.

"Ouch, that man is brutal, Nine once almost failed his class because he couldn't define the concept of production theory" said Dom as he grimaced remembering that memory.

"I know…" said Natasha as she groaned.

"Hey Natasha, relax, calm down" said Dom.

"How can I relax when you just told me that Nine of all people almost failed? I am in deep trouble if I don't cram this entire chapter right now" said Natasha as she groaned and she closed the book as she rested her head on Dom's desk as Dom did not want to laugh right now, he knew that Natasha was stressed.

"Hey Natasha, look at me, calm down, worrying will get you nowhere" said Dom as Natasha groaned and she said something that came out muffled and Dom did not hear what she said.

"Natasha, do you know what Charlie, Nine, Michael and I used to do when we had so much to study?" asked Dom as he smiled.

"What?" asked Natasha as she looked at him.

"Since we all had burnout, we stopped studying, closed all out textbooks, and found the most stupid movie ever, and we just watched it, to let loose, and by the time we studied the next day, we had fresh minds" said Dom.

"You did?" asked Natasha.

"Mhmm" said Dom as he nodded.

"And did it work?" asked Natasha.

"It worked very well, so well that Charlie thanks the worst movies in existence for keeping him sane through exam time" said Dom as he laughed and Natasha sighed.

"Oh come on Natasha, take a break, and let's watch a movie together, it will help you relax" said Dom as Natasha was weighing her options, she could stay her, do nothing and crack her brain in the name or studying, or go relax and watch a movie with Dom.

"Alright fine" said Natasha as Dom smiled.

"Great, I'll go make popcorn, do you want pretzels?" asked Dom.

"No, popcorn is fine" said Natasha as Dom smiled and he walked out of his office as Natasha sighed.

Natasha sat down on the couch in the living room as she braided her hair into a ponytail as Dom walked into the living room.

"Your popcorn Madam" said Dom as he smiled and he handed Natasha a bowl of popcorn.

"Thank you" said Natasha as she smiled and Dom walked to the tv and he switched it on as he took the remote and he sat down beside Natasha.

"So which movie did you choose?" asked Natasha as she ate some popcorn.

"It's a movie called Dudley Do Right, I doubt that you have watched it before" said Dom.

"I have never" said Natasha as she shook her head.

"Have you?" asked Natasha.

"Many times, it was made in 1999" said Dom as he pressed a button on the remote and the movie started to play.

"Well okay then" said Natasha as Dom took from her popcorn as she watched the screen.

"Oh my goodness, who taught that poor child that?" asked Natasha as she gasped, they were still on the opening scene of the movie, and she already had something to say.

"What?" asked Dom as he laughed and he paused the movie.

"That, who taught that child that the bad guys always get the ladies? And now he wants to be a villain" said Natasha as she shook her head and Dom laughed.

"Well I mean, it's true, the bad guys always get the ladies" said Dom as he winked.

"No, I don't see that, why would you like someone who's obviously the bad guy?" asked Natasha as she looked at Dom.

"Well of course you don't, you never had a thing for bad boys" said Dom as he ate some more popcorn.

"Of course I didn't, I like nice, good, kind responsible men like my dad, you and Pete" said Natasha as Dom smiled smugly.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you smiling like that?" asked Natasha.

"You put me before Pete" said Dom as he smiled even more and Natasha scoffed.

"Are you serious right now Dom? Are you a child?" asked Natasha as she scoffed and Dom smiled.

"Yes, I am happy that you put me above Pete" said Dom as he laughed.

"Then in that case, I put him above you" said Natasha as she scoffed.

"Tell me Natasha, who do you like more? Me or Pete?" asked Dom.

"Pete" replied Natasha almost immediately, she did not want Dom's big head to swell if she said that she liked him more.

"No, you answered too quickly, try again" said Dom.

"Still Pete" said Natasha.

"Alright then, give me reasons why?" asked Dom.

"Well let's see, hmm he's responsible, he had good values, and most of all he has a cool gun" said Natasha.

"Natasha, you and guns, I don't know why you like them so much" said Dom as he sighed and he shook his head.

"Anyway, in that case, we are more or less the same, I have a gun as well might I remind you" said Dom as Natasha sighed.

"Just what do you want me to say Dom?" asked Natasha.

"For you to say the truth and tell me that you of course like me better than Pete" said Dom as he laughed.

"Never going to happen, let's continue watching the movie" said Natasha as she looked back at the tv.

"Alright then, fine" said Dom as he laughed and Natasha rolled her eyes at him as she could not help but laugh internally, he was so silly.

"I don't know what to think about that movie…" said Natasha as the end credits rolled.

"Well what's your honest opinion?" asked Dom as he looked at Natasha.

"Well I think that Nell is a one dimensional character, who is a misinterpretation of women and their love, I mean, she went with Snidely because he was evil, and when Dudley became Dudley Do wrong, she fell for him hook like in sinker" said Natasha.

"But you have to admit, Dudley rocks black and especially the motorcycle" said Dom as he laughed.

"But seriously, where did the Australian prime minster's husband come from? And also, the comedic and yet offensive representation of the native Indians, like seriously? They had a casino in the middle of nowhere?" asked Natasha as she shook her head.

"You are right, but you have to remember that it's a comedy, and it did make you laugh right?" asked Dom.

"Yes it did, it was funny" said Natasha as she laughed.

"What did I just spend my limited time watching?" asked Natasha as she sighed and she laughed as Dom laughed as well.

"Well do you feel better now? No longer stressed?" asked Dom.

"Oddly enough yes" said Natasha as she nodded her head.

"Good, now tomorrow you can study with a free mind" said Dom as Natasha nodded and she stood up.

"Thanks Dom for cheering me up, and watching that movie with me" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Anytime Natasha, anytime" said Dom as he laughed.

"Goodnight Dom" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Goodnight Natasha" said Dom as Natasha turned around to walk out of the living room.

"When I'm calling you…" said Dom as he sang in a very horrible voice as Natasha turned to look at him.

"Don't start Dom, don't you dare start, I want to get that horrible song out of my head" said Natasha as she laughed and Dom laughed as she walked away while shaking her head as Dom switched off the tv, he better go to bed as well.
