"Cowardice is equal to betrayal, disloyalty" said Romanoff in a very cold tone as he stopped looking at Natasha and he turned to look at the rest of them who had refused to say a single word.
"Imagine if this was a hostage situation, and you were taken hostage, you would rather divulge all the secrets of the union, rather than suffer, you are nothing but a coward, who will, and can ne disposed of by the union at any time" said Romanoff.
"And being a coward, is not acceptable, especially not here, not where we are, because if you cannot take heart, then your heart will be ripped out" said Romanoff as Natasha did not say anything.
"Let this serve as a lesson to you all, never hesitate, and most of all, don't be a coward, am I clear?" asked Romanoff.
"Yes Commander" said everyone else as they nodded their heads.
"You are dismissed, all expect for Natasha, who because of her cowardice, will be punished" said Romanoff as the others kept quiet.
"Tomorrow, we will continue on, take your leave now" said Romanoff.
"Yes Commander" said everyone as they nodded their heads as they walked out of the dojo leaving Natasha and Romanoff there, Tatiana was worried, but she did not dare try to speak to Romanoff.
Natasha stayed there, rooted in her spot as she said nothing at all, she was trying to calm herself down, Romanoff was crazy, how could he ask her to shoot herself? He even almost pulled the trigger, Natasha felt her heart sink when she felt his finger slowly pushing hers on the trigger, she actually feared that he would shoot her.
Romanoff waited for everyone to leave as he made sure that he and Natasha were alone.
"You dare speak to me in that manner, refuting me, in front of the others, calling my methods crazy" said Romanoff as he sounded very angry as Natasha looked at him.
"It is crazy, why do we have to get shot to prove our loyalty" said Natasha as she was scared right now.
"Oh devochka (girl), you don't know anything, shooting you is the least your enemies would do once they get a hold of you" said Romanoff as he scoffed, he was trying to make them tough, but she chickened out, and it disappointed him.
"When I told you that this is no place for you, did you listen? No you did not, and yet here you are" said Romanoff as Natasha kept quiet, she knew that he was right.
"I am a principled man, and just because I know you, does not mean that I will bend the rules for you, because of your cowardice, you will be punished, just like everyone else will be if they did what you did" said Romanoff.
"Fine, that is alright with me, as long as I don't have to get shot" said Natasha as that was her greatest fear, being shot, the terror she faced that night in the dark forest had become a point of trauma for her, the mere thought of being shot again just made her heart sink deeper and deeper each time.
Romanoff took a pause as he could sense that this was more than fear that Natasha had from the thought being shot, it was more like terror.
"Alright then, so be it, but do not dare look at me in fear, be a woman, and receive your punishment" said Romanoff.
"Fine" said Natasha as she was relieved, as long as she was not going to get shot, she was alright, even though she wondered what punishment Romanoff would give her, it did not matter as long as it had nothing to do with guns.
Romanoff sighed as he put the gun in his gun holster and he walked to where Natasha was as Natasha took a deep breath.
"Fight me" said Romanoff.
"What?" asked Natasha as she could not understand what he said.
"I said, fight me" said Romanoff once again.
"It is your punishment" said Romanoff as Natasha still did not get it.
"Me, fight you?" asked Natasha once again.
"You heard me devochka (girl), go on now, fight me, because you do not want me taking the first move" said Romanoff as Natasha was surprised with the way that things were going as she realized that this was far better than getting shot.
Natasha moved her hand to try to punch Romanoff's face as he blocked her supposed attack swiftly and he pushed Natasha back as he did not hurt her.
"Again" said Romanoff as Natasha saw no point in this, he was obviously more skilled than her, maybe he just wanted her to be frustrated.
"I said again" said Romanoff as Natasha tried to punch his face again as he caught her fist and he almost twisted her hand over as he let go of it.
"What is the point of this?" asked Natasha as she did not understand it.
"No questions, serve your punishment" said Romanoff as he knew that she should consider herself lucky, that he would not hurt her.
"This is no punishment" said Natasha as she scoffed.
"And remember that you said that yourself devochka (girl)" said Romanoff as suddenly in one swift move he hit her repeatedly in two different places as Natasha moved back in pain.
"I told you" said Romanoff as he was getting tired of this, so before Natasha could catch her breath he gave her a quick kick that sent her flying as she landed on the ground in pain.
"A word of advice" said Romanoff.
"You don't fear devochka (girl), you become the fear" said Romanoff as Natasha did not get what he meant when suddenly Romanoff brought out the gun and he did not hesitate at all once he had the gun in his hand he pointed it straight for Natasha as he gave no second thought as he pulled the trigger and he shot Natasha twice on the chest.
Natasha was in shock, she was frozen in fear, she had just been shot, twice, she felt like she was in so much pain right now.
Natasha moved her hand slowly to touch her chest as everything seemed fine, but she still felt so much pain.
"Get over it devochka (girl)" said Romanoff as he walked to her, he did this for her own good, it was the only way that she would learn.
"You are alright, just a sting, there is a reason it's called a bulletproof vest" said Romanoff as he walked to where she was lying on the ground, he knew that she was just probably in shock, because of her fear, the fear made things worse for her.
Natasha could not reply to him, her heart was beating so fast, so much so that she felt like she would have a heart attack.
"One thing you should know very well is that fear, is a weapon, do so you have to become the weapon, if you fear, it will amplify the bad feelings that you feel" said Romanoff.
"Right now you are in shock, but what you should be worrying about is what you are going to do when you come out of shock and you realize that your entire body is In pain" said Romanoff as he put the gun back in his pocket as he did hit Natasha, not too hard, but she would still feel some pain, it was only normal, what he might have done did not seem much, but he did do some damage.
"Get up devochka (girl), you've been down there for too long" said Romanoff as he looked at Natasha who was still breathing heavily as he sighed and he helped her up as he looked at her.
"Are you alright?" asked Romanoff as he could not believe what he was doing right now, he should have just left her and walked away, but he could not do that at all.
Natasha did not say anything as she just shook her head no, no, she was not okay, not at all.
Romanoff sighed as he did not know what to do now, he did not expect her to say no.
"Well then, you can go back to your room, I will see you tomorrow, and I will not tolerate you refuting me, especially not in front of your teammates" said Romanoff in a very serious tone.
"In your room, in the closet, underneath the blankets is a first aid kit, if you need it, use it" said Romanoff as he walked away, that was all he could do for her, he had already overstepped his usual boundaries.
Natasha did not know what just happened as Romanoff just left her there alone.
All Natasha knew was that she needed to get out of this thing, so she removed the bulletproof vest as she walked out of the dojo to the locker room to get changed.
