Tired… that was the one word that Natasha could use to explain how she felt right now, she was tired, all she wanted to do was sleep right now, she had jet lag, serious jet lag.
From her 20 hour flight, two transits, just because she did not want to be in a plane for too long, she was just tired.
Her first time travelling to Russia, and she could not adjust to the time zone, she just felt like dropping everything and sleeping, but she could not, she still had some things to do.
"Stay awake Natasha, stay away" said Natasha to herself as she groaned and she sat down on her double bed, she had already checked into her hotel.
From the jet lag, to her checking into her hotel, and the traffic she had to face, she was just so tired.
"I am actually here…" said Natasha to herself as she could not believe it, she had actually gone through with coming here to Moscow.
She had to tell you that it was not an easy decision for her at all, but she was not one to look back, once she made a decision, she was going to stick with it till the end, no matter what.
"Oh gosh…" said Natasha as she sighed and she rested flat on her bed as she closed her eyes, she needed some time to breath and think, her thoughts were clouded right now, she actually could not believe that she went through with coming here.
Saying goodbye to her baby was so hard for her, she was so very far away from her, and all she wanted to do was get back home, but that would be as soon as she found her answers.
Natasha sighed, she really hoped that Romanoff was not playing with her, he had to actually show up, because she had come all the way here just to see him, and he better not disappoint her.
Natasha had left her baby, her company, just to come here, she had told Chloe that she was going to Russia to visit a relative of hers, and just like that she left Chloe in charge of all the operations, and if there was something that she was unsure of, she could just email her.
But Natasha trusted Chloe, she was sure that everything would be alright, and she would be able to handle everything without her being there at all.
Natasha opened her eyes, she realized that she had become bolder, ever since she came back to this time, fear was not in her dictionary, she had done things that the old her would have never even dream of doing.
She had learned how to fight, to use a gun to defend herself, she stopped loving Dom, focused on herself, and most of all, she chased a mysterious Russian man down, just to find answers, and well here she was, and the thing was that, she regretting nothing, not at all, she was happy with all the decisions that she had taken, because deep down, she knew that she was doing the right thing.
Natasha stood up from the bed as she walked to the window of her hotel room, she pulled open the curtains as she looked down into the bustling city below her, she was in one of the top floor rooms.
It was snowing, and the sun had already set, she could see the many car lights, and the people as they walked, the city was bustling, even though it was already dark outside, but it seemed like the day had just begun.
Natasha smiled and she closed the curtains and she turned around as suddenly there was on a knock on her room door, and she walked to open it as she saw a woman standing there.
"Privet (Hello)" said the woman with a smile as she looked at Natasha, the woman had brown hair and brown eyes, and a friendly smile on her face as she was dressed in red.
"Privet (Hello)" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Obsluzhivaniye nomerov" said the woman as she smiled.
"Huh??" asked Natasha as she was confused, she did not understand what the woman just said, she was trying to make out the words, but the woman just spoke too fast for her to be able to do that
"Room service" said the woman as she laughed at Natasha's reaction.
"Oh yes, thank you" said Natasha as she smiled, and the woman handed Natasha a covered silver platter.
"Sorry for confusing you" said the woman as she laughed.
"No need to apologize" said Natasha as she laughed.
"I thought you spoke Russian" said the woman as she laughed.
"Ya delayu (I do)" said Natasha as she replied.
"Only that I don't really speak deep Russian" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Ahh but you speak well" said the woman as she laughed, she always found it funny when foreigners tried to understand what they were saying, but this woman right here seemed to have some basic knowledge of their wonderful language.
"Spaisbo (Thank you)" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Dobro pozhalovat' (Welcome)" said the woman as she smiled.
"Well let me leave you now Miss, please do have a good evening" said the woman as she smiled.
"Thank you, and you too" said Natasha as she smiled and the woman walked away as Natasha closed the door of her room, and she placed the platter on the table.
Well at least now she could eat, and then she could rest, because in all honesty, she really needed it.
Natasha sighed as she sat down on the bed and she brought out her phone as she unlocked it, she wanted to call her baby and tell her that she had arrived, but she did not know if she would be sleeping by now.
This time difference thing was confusing her, and from what she knew, Moscow was 8 hours ahead of her city back home, so right now, she was just too tired to actually calculate the time it would be back then right now.
Natasha's mind wandered, she wondered if Dom had received her letter by now, if he did, he would have been calling her non stop by now, but he wasn't which made Natasha relieved, she did not even know why she cared if he called at all, that would be his own problem, she was sure that he would take care of Joy until she returned.
Natasha placed her phone on her bed as she walked to her laptop bag, and she brought out her laptop, tomorrow would be the first of November, and Romanoff asked her to meet him in some coffee shop, she had to find how close that Coffee shop would be to her hotel, because one thing she did not want to face was more traffic.
Natasha typed in her search engine, as she found the coordinates of the coffee shop, and she typed her own location.
Luckily for her, it would seem that the coffee shop wasn't too far from her hotel, apparently the coffee shop was in the heart of Moscow, and her hotel wasn't to far from it, it seemed like a 20 minute drive, Natasha only hoped that it would be, and that there would be no traffic.
"Well then, I know where I am going tomorrow" said Natasha to herself as she sighed, she was just giving herself the double confirmation she needed right now.
Now all she hoped for was that Romanoff would actually show up there tomorrow afternoon, or else, she would have just come here for nothing at all, and Natasha was not one to waste her time.
Natasha shut down her laptop as she placed it on the table, she removed her black sweater as she put it on her bed and she picked up her phone again, checking if she had any missed calls, but she did not, so she put her phone back down again.
Natasha walked to her suitcase as she bent down and she opened it as she opened another case in her suitcase as she brought out her gun, she had to get her luggage checked so she could travel with her gun, because there was no way that she was going to come all the way here, with no protection at all.
"I wish that I do not have to use you" said Natasha as she sighed, but if worst came to worst, and all Romanoff wanted to do was to give her the run around, then she would have no other choice than to take matters in her own hands.
Natasha but her gun back in the case as she unzipped her suitcase, and she decided to get changed into something more comfortable, it would be a long night, and she could not wait for tomorrow to come, so she could find the answers that she needed.
