Chapter 144 - Childhood Memories IX

"Go on my children, you can eat your cookies now" said Mary as she smiled.

"You do not have to say that twice Grandmother" said Charlie as he gobbled up his cookie within seconds.

"Wow Charlie, so much for waiting for the rest of us" said Michael as he shook his head and Mary laughed, these two boys of hers were always arguing.

"Deliciousness waits for no one" said Charlie as he licked his fingers.

"Eww remind me never to hold Charlie's hand" said Zavi as he frowned at Charlie who was eating like a pig.

"Haha" said Dom as he laughed and he took a bit from his red velvet cookie, and Michael ate his own peanut butter cookie, and Zavi ate his lemon cookie.

When Natasha saw that the boys had took a bite from their cookies she took a bite from her own ginger cookie, it was so warm, chewy and sweet, she had never tasted any cookie like this before, the cookies her daddy bought from the store never tasted as good as these.

"How do you like the cookie my dear" asked Mary as she looked at Natasha.

"It is very, very nice" said Natasha as she chewed and she nodded her head.

"I am glad you think so" said Mary as she smiled, there was nothing she loved better than seeing her children eat, there was just something so fulfilling about that, she felt like a true Grandmother when she made cookies for her children, just like the same way her Grandmother used to make cookies for her.

"Let me go and get the second batch from the oven" said Mary as she smiled and she walked away.

"Didn't we tell you??" asked Charlie as he turned to look at Natasha.

"Grandmother always makes the best cookies" said Charlie as he smiled.

"Yes she does" said Natasha as she smiled, she had finished her cookies.

"Mhmm, I remember when I first tasted Grandmother's cookies, it was at that point that I decided I was going to stay here with her forever" said Michael as he laughed.

"Hey, wow, so you didn't even care for me at all" said Dom as he laughed and he shook his head.

"Well we were not friends at that time" said Michael as he laughed.

"True, I agree with that" said Dom as he laughed.

"So Natasha, how do you like staying in the estate?" asked Dom as he turned to look at Natasha.

"It is very nice, and big, and my mommy and daddy like it here" said Natasha as she smiled.

"That's nice" said Michael as he smiled.

"Yes, and I also like it here because you are my friends" said Natasha as she smiled.

"I am not your friend" said Zavi coldly.

"Oh don't mind him Natasha, he doesn't think that we are his friends either, which means that you are actually his friend" said Charlie as he laughed and Natasha smiled.

"I did not ask you to speak for me" said Zavi but everyone ignored him, which annoyed him very much.

"My Children here are some more cookies, be careful not to get crumbs everywhere, Alfred hates when that happens" said Mary as she laughed and she brought in a tray of many cookies and she placed it on a little table beside the couch.

"Thank you Grandmother" said Dom, Michael, Charlie and Zavi as they smiled.

"Thank you" said Natasha as she smiled and Mary smiled as she walked back to the kitchen.

"When do you think Grandfather is coming back?" asked Michael as he took a cookie from the tray.

"Well I don't know, and I hope he does not come back soon" said Charlie as he sighed.

"The fact that it's summer holiday and he still gives us homework is just so unfair" said Dom as he sighed and he drowned his sadness in eating delicious, sweet, warm cookies.

"You know how Grandfather is" said Charlie as he sighed.

"You even have it lucky, you don't have to learn how to fight" said Zavi as he scoffed.

"You are wrong, I still have to, we are just lucky that Master Kai is on a vacation" said Dom as he laughed.

"I thought learning martial arts would be cool, but it's just so tiring" said Michael as he groaned.

"Yes, I want to learn how to fight, but without the stressful training" said Charlie.

"You guys know how to fight??" asked Natasha as all this time she was just watching the boys talk as she ate the cookies in silence, but her interest was piqued when she heard the word fight.

"Well not exactly" said Michael.

"But we are learning to fight" said Charlie as he smiled.

"Why??" asked Natasha as she was very curious.

"Well because Grandfather is paranoid" said Zavi.

"Zavi" said Dom as he turned to look at Zavi and he shook his head.

"It's not because of that" said Dom as he turned to look at Natasha.

"It's because he learnt to fight when he was our age, so he wants us to learn how to fight too" said Dom as he explained.

"Oooh that sounds very cool" said Natasha as she smiled.

"Well yes it does sound cool, but when you actually have to train, it's very tiring" said Michael as he ate another cookie, this time it was a chocolate chip cookie.

"I want to learn how to fight too" said Natasha as she giggled.

"Well I don't think that is a good idea" said Dom as he smiled.

"Why??" asked Natasha, she wanted to learn how to fight also, it sounded very cool.

"Because you are a girl" said Charlie and Michael and Dom turned to look at him as they shook their heads.

"What???" asked Charlie as he did not understand why they were shaking their heads at him, he did nothing wrong.

"It's not because you are a girl, it's because you are still very small, we are big, and that's why we are learning how to fight" said Dom as he explained.

"I will ask my mommy to teach me how to fight" said Natasha as she shook her head and she giggled.

"Okay??" asked Michael as he did not think that Natasha knew the type of fighting that they were talking about, it was serious, bone crushing, break the jaw, fighting they were learning.

In the moment that they were talking, the doorbells suddenly rang.

"I will get the door Grandmother" said Dom as he shouted, he knew his Grandmother was busy in the kitchen.

"Alright my boy" shouted Mary back, and Dom walked out the room to the front door and everyone followed after him for some odd reason.

"Hello Sir" said Dom as he smiled and he opened the door.

"Oh Hello" said Larry as he smiled as he saw a boy who looked no older than ten years old open the door.

"Daddy!!" said Natasha as she heard the voice of her father and she rushed out the door as Larry carried her.

"Hello my Tasha" said Larry as she smiled.

"Oh Mr. Cole, it is finally nice to meet you" said Mary as she walked to the front door and she wiped her hands on her apron, they were wet as she was washing the dishes, and Dom moved away from the door so she could pass by.

"The same to you Mrs. White" said Larry as he smiled.

"Thank you very much for inviting Natasha to your home" said Larry as he smiled.

"Oh it is no trouble at all, she is a little angel" said Mary as she smiled and Natasha giggled.

"I truly do appreciate it" said Larry as he smiled, he was finally able to get some work done.

"You are welcome Mr. Cole" said Mary as she smiled.

"Daddy, she made us very nice cookies" said Natasha as she looked at her father.

"Can you make me cookies??" asked Natasha as she looked very innocent and Larry laughed as Mary laughed as well and they turned to look at each other.

"Well No my Tasha, I am very busy" said Larry as he smiled, and honestly, he had never made cookies before.

"Ahh which reminds me" said Mary as she smiled.

"My love, can you please get me the pink paper cookie box on the kitchen counter?" asked Mary and Zavi walked to the kitchen and he got the pink box Mary was talking about.

"Thank you my love" said Mary as she smiled.

"Here, please accept these, I just finished baking these cookies" said Mary as she smiled and she gave the box to Larry.

"Thank you Mrs. White, you are too kind" said Larry as he smiled and he took he box in his free hand.

"Oh, I just love to give, please take care Mr. Cole" said Mary as she smiled.

"I will and the same to you" said Larry as he smiled.

"Bye Natasha" said Dom, Michael and Charlie as they waved at Natasha with a smile.

"Bye Bye guys" said Natasha as she smiled and she waved back at them as Larry walked away as he carried her.
