Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

I was still on phone with Gideon when Sam came outside. I had left the room to answer my call because I wanted some privacy. She came towards me, standing just few feets away from me as if waiting for me to end my call. I mouthed to her that I was still on call, just in case she didn't know but she didn't budge as she maintained her position. I rolled my eyes at her as I walked away from her, wondering what that was all about.

"When are you coming home", I asked Gideon, feeling the need to get cuddled and sweaty with him.

"Just two more days baby and I will be yours for the weekend. I promise".

I did a mental calculation. Today is Wednesday. That means he would be back on Friday for our trip. He won't have time to rest before heading out to his hometown. I hope he is not planning on cancelling the trip. I decided to ask him.

"That's Friday. And we are supposed to go on a trip on Friday, remember?"

He chortled. "How can I forget. I know how much this means to you dear".

I felt calm, my fear banished, knowing we are sorted out for the weekend.

"Would you like your friend to come with us?"

I had two things in mind when Gideon said that. I was going to have my ear properly cleaned just to be sure I heard him right. Secondly, I thought of doing a nonstop back lift.

"Are you there?"

Oh, I've been silent for a while

"Yes, sorry. I was just caught unawares by your question". I said, not sure how to respond to his question.

This couldn't be a test. Or could it? Gideon could barely tolerate Sam's presence. He had once complained about how she pry into our relationship. Now that we are going to visit his folks, he suddenly wants Sam to tag along. Oh, I can't wait to share this beautiful piece with Sam. This would definitely shut her up for good. See! Gideon can be rational.

"Okay, so, what do you think?"

"I... well, that's thoughtful of you but I don't know how that would make you feel"

"Don't worry about me baby. I can bring a friend along too."

"A friend? But you told me you don't have friends"

Gideon laughed. I can imagine how the dimple on his chin would be on display.

"I hope you are alone, laughing like that", I said, feeling insecure

"I'm having a photo shoot with a brunette beside me right now. She is wondering what you are saying to me to make me laugh so well".

I blushed. I know where this conversation is heading. If he was here with me, he would be carrying me to bed by now. Kissing, touching, pleasuring my body. His foreplay always leaves me begging for more.

"Don't make me wet while you're miles away", I said unable to keep the heat away from my voice.

He knows the effect he has on me and it gratify him that I can't help myself around him. Not that I have a reason to. I love everything about him and he treats me so well.

"Go ahead and get wet for me baby. See if I won't fly those miles just to have you under me"

There was no kidding in his voice and I just know he would actually do that for me. My heart raced fast just thinking of how much I love this man. I wonder what good I had done in my past life to get such a beautiful reward.

"Anyways babe, I never said I don't have friends. I said I don't keep them. That doesn't mean I won't get one who would jump at the opportunity to hang out with us".

"Mmm, okay. I don't know what to say to that"

"You don't need to. I've got you"

"I know", I said blushing

"And be ready for me when I get back. I'm going crazy without you here".

In that instant, I felt the moisture between my thighs. My body is so attuned to this man. I'm sure I would have a toe-curling orgasms at the snap of his finger.

"I don't know if I can wait till Friday", I said almost moaning.

I knew it was my body in control of my brain at the moment. I walk back to the porch with a wobble as I gently sat on it. I fear my legs would give up on me.

"I'll see what I can do" he promised and I know he would do as he said.

"I have to go now Mel. It's time for another session. I will send you some pictures of me later. Don't cum on my face while you stimulate yourself"

"Only if you are not looking hot", I said knowing that wasn't happening.

Even when he gets sweaty, he still looks great. Always.

"You, be the judge of that", he said and I can tell he's smirking at me.

"I love you babe"

"Love you too Mel".

I brought my phone close to my chest, hugging it tightly, minutes after Gideon had ended the call. I stood up to get inside the house, in search of my very provoking best friend. I kept shouting her name as I walked through the living room to the kitchen. I saw her putting out the ingredients and some utensils for the oatmeal. I broke into a fit of laughter.

"When you are done enjoying the show, can you give a hand here", Sam said, trying to surpress her laughter too.

"You really are a silly one but I don't know what I would do without you".

I opened my arms to her. She walked into them as I embraced her.

"You will never find out", she whispered to my ears. "Now let's get to work. I'm starving"

I pretend not to hear her.

"Did you say something?" I asked

"I did and you heard. Now do something about my hunger before I become bloodthirsty. And you knowing whose blood I would be having first"

"Definitely not mine", I said moving past her to the kitchen counter.

I light the cooker, then place a small pan on it. I poured some milk inside to warm up over medium heat. I emptied the milk into a bowl, added some wheat flour and stir to make a paste-like consistency. Then I added brown sugar, a teaspoon of baking powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. I had instructed Sam to heat two teaspoons of butter over the same medium heat while I prepared the batter. I poured about 1/3 cup batter in the preheated butter inside the pan and spread gently to make a nicely round-shaped oats pancake. I flipped it when the base had cooked. Sam stood beside me watching every step as I repeated the process once more to clear up the remaining batter. I could tell her mouth is itching to have a bite.

I ignored her silent plea as I took to cleaning the used utensils. I saw the dagger look Sam was throwing with the corner of my eyes but she quickly weighed her options as she joined in the cleaning. In no time, the Kitchen became tidy and I served the pancake in two plates and poured some honey and fresh fruits on it. I almost laughed when I saw the hungry look on Sam's face.

"Try not to choke on the food when you eat it" I said, bringing out two glasses to pour us drink to wash it down.

"Bless you Mel. You are so sweet." Sam gushed.

"I know", I said as I took a bite of my oat pancake. "Mmm, the taste is heavenly'.

"I do not doubt it", Sam agreed, raising a thumb up in approval.

"So why were you so angry earlier? And what's that show you were putting on outside?" I asked in between bites of food.

Sam raised her face to mine. She had the grace to look contrite. But she didn't utter a word as she continued to stare at me. I know I'm a natural when it comes to beauty but Sam's rounded face and glowing skin gives her spotless face just the right advantage she needs. She is a mixed breed. Her dad, an American, and her mum, African. Though Sam has never stepped foot on Africa soil, her mum made sure she could speak her native dialect which always sound like music to my hearing. It has a very soothing way of calming my nerves whenever she speaks it. Her shoulder length, wavy hair has a fine texture that makes my fingers itch to have a feel of it always, but right now, I feel like giving her a deserving knock on her head.

"Quit giving me that mixed breed look. You need to explain yourself".

Sam rolled her eyes. "Stop blowing things out of proportion. I was playing around with you".

I gave her a look of sheer surprise.

"Really? Playing around with me! Even while I was on the phone with Gideon". I said slowly, trying to make her see the wrong in her action.

She lowered her gaze, twirling her fingers.

"I know you don't want to hear it and I won't push my luck until I have a solid evidence to back my claim but I have seen Gideon's face before. I just don't understand why he keeps denying it".

Here we go again. I thought she had dropped this crazy illusion of knowing Gideon. Now we are back to it.
